I refuse to have a Mabari over an Wyvern in Inquisition. We must have one of things! WE MUST. Look at it. It's ferocious and unrelenting! And also kind of cute in a sort of derpy way. But I will refuse to buy this game if it doesn't have wyvern pets! The game will not be complete until then!

WYVERNS 2014!

;)

Myself, I'd name my wyvern Eatnugs.

"Good work, Eatnugs!"
"Charge their line, Eatnugs!"
"Feeling hungry, Eatnugs?"

It doubles as a reference to Tailchaser's Song.

I feel like giving you a gold star for referencing one of my favorite books ever.

But yes, PET WYVERN :wizard:

I woudn't mind if they did something like the armored trolls in Skyrim's Dawnguard. Wyverns, Brontos, wolves, maybe even Gryphons could work (although personally I'd be against Gryphons, especially for anyone other than The Wardens).

a pet wyvern could be fun, especially if it doubled as a mount.

Wyvern? - That's a possibility, but i would prefer a Drake (one of those "mini" Dragons you can find near high-dragons!)

as for names? - Neltharion comes to mind ^^

Drakes are rather plain compared to the exotic wyvern.

I think Bioware may have been alluding the chance of finding Griffons,
which wouldn't surprise me. But honestly I don't want a Wyvern, as it
would call into question how to tame the flighty little bugger. I'd rather
have the shapeshift skill tree back. That way I could move around faster
in other forms. But it's not likely I will see that again.

Although, If they brought back the Ranger skill tree it would make gaining
the wyvern a cakewalk I think. Just a suggestion is all.

I think we MUST have a Mabari, or its simply not a Dragon Age game.
However, since Horse mounts are confirmed, and monster mounts (being Wyverns and Griffons) were hinted at, its a strong possibility.
I see no Lore-Hole about the griffons either... like dragons were, griffons are BELIEVED to be extinct.
I'd always prefer a griffon over a wyvern... but thats a hold-over from my being a warhammer high elf nerd and loving my flying bird-cats whose elven name translates as "Savage Perfection." if nothing else, however, DA evidence suggests griffons can be tamed, so far the wyvern we've seen was not at all tame, and barely responded to its rider/master.

Yes, I'd much rather have a wyvern than another damned mabari.

YESSSSSSSSSS

Seriously Wyvern mounts, in place of a pet dog.
