so far I didn't bought the folowing DLCs:
1. Citadel
2. Omega
3. Alternate Apperance pack 1
4. Genesis 2
as I own a pre - ordered edition of the Digital deluxe N7 uber shaperd fan Mass effect 3 I would like to try all of those dlcs or at least the first 2 and complete the mind numbing "Nightmare" mode on the hardest diffuclty where enemies are still easier then multiplayer bronze.
At anyrate in order to get all of those I'll need 2880 Bioware Points.
through the sub sub sub sub secret "shush don't tell anyone" menu of the "show game details" I can get bioware points in packs of 1600 \\ 1200 \\ 800 \\ 400. so in which ever option I'll choose I'm getting more bioware points then I actually needs.
why in andrastae's name this issue was never fixed in a way that we could purchase the dlcs for real money like the games?
I own the entire trilogy with every dlc there is (on steam) and works great really wanted to have the entire collection but I prefer to pay only for what I get.
in any case let's say I'll settle for first two.... they worth it? or they are very boring comparing to the entire game expiriance? (let's say that my N7 ops team got more tacticale value then the entire combined resources of the galaxies forces).
DLCs for $$ instead of BP?

Citadel, at the very least, is an essential part of my ME experience.
Omega, I wasn't much for the first time around, but enjoyed a lot more on the second play through.
The other two you can do without. Can you just not used the gibbed editor instead of Genesis 2?

I love Citadel to the bits! It's funny, silly, "cute"(?), anyway, I can't have a playthrough without it. I'm a fan of Omega too, but not many people agree...

Probably because Steam did that first, and EA presumably doesn't want to be seen copying every part of Valve's products exactly.why in andrastae's name this issue was never fixed in a way that we could purchase the dlcs for real money like the games?

It seems it's really only Bioware products that is keeping the points system. I don't know why, but it might go away soon since the microsoft store doesn't have it anymore.AlexMBrennan wrote...

I am not sure if BioWare points will be removed for old games, but I am hoping with Dragon Age: Inquisition their new games won't require the points especially with them using Origin now, for I encountered a problem with either Omega or Citadel where I had enough points, but the store was bugged and I had to buy more to have more then what the DLC required. Not to mention Microsoft is doing away with points as well effective the beginning of September (if I remember correctly).

the point system allows people to buy point packages in retail instead of buying them online.
although i use paypal since some months i still think they should keep the points as an option if they are going for real cash
