Im wonder that its possible to save the game after u save the council im just wondering if it possible

I believe it auto-saves before you face the Saren/Sovereign monster. But as far as literally saving with a physical save or quicksave, no. Before you run up to the stairs to face Saren is the last time you can do that in the game.

After you kill Zombie Saren, a character save is made that you can use in NG+. THAT save will be used in ME2
