I still play since my manifest isn't maxed(I want my damn jav X), I have some really great people to play with(and sometimes stream with) and I still know I could be better, which isn't enough for me. Gotta keep playing.

I play because I like this game. Usually I only play with pugs, but I'd still say it's the people. The awesome ones who play tightly as a team and help each other out, the annoying ones who point-**** during objectives. The moments when you have to solo a wave with the worst possible kit you could've come up with. Awesome-times.

Managed to solo bronze with shaman using only barrier (and occasional melee) without shooting or using other powers. Failed miserably on sivler however. There is something strange going on with shield gate after few frequent detonations, so it seems like it is very hard to survive.

There are also few mods to try and some of them are really good.

I've done that as well. 
My PC is terribad so I get a steady 17 frames in normal games. In husk mode I'd probably get <1 frame. :(

I don't - I ditch the game when I noticed that I didn't actually enjoy the game after not playing for a week.
In general, I'm very quick to ditch games when I notice grinding and/or overt monetisation that negatively affects gameplay (essentially, anything other than Valve) such as Guild Wars 2 (when I had to go back to low level zones for crafting materials to level up my crafting skill enough to use higher level ingredients that actually challenging monsters were dropping). Planetside 2 (after 1h of gameplay), etc

I play because the game is still fun. Because it's a nice way to unwind. Because it lets me spend time in my favourite sci-fi universe without the time commitment of a full SP playthrough of all three games.

I feel you on GW2 crafting is a b*tch. But this game it isn't too bad so as long as you're playing gold/plat. I maxed out my manifest in 697 hrs and a lot of that is soloing/duoing.

Top reason: I'm still having fun.

Other reasons would be:
2) maxing manifest
3) Completing each sub-challenge at least once. May be I will discover an unorthodox and possibly more entertaining kit/build/play style etc. Remaining are some of the platinum maps, some common guns, a few biotic powers and mostly biotic character waves. Let's just say I'm not the biggest fan of biotics :P
