I think she'll be like Miranda in that way: really gifted and driven so that she climbed through the ranks pretty fast.

I really don't like the idea of LI's being specific to certain races. I don't want to make an elf and play through the majority of the game only to find that I can't stand the 1 LI who is available for my race and the one I really like is human or dwarf only. It completely removes choice.

I think that if they decide not to do 4 player-sexual LI's (two from each gender) like DA2, then it will either be along race OR along sexuality. For example, certain LI's might be available to only certain races. OR certain LI's might be "same-sex", "opposite-sex", "player sexual". I can't see them doing both because that would just require so many LI's that it would end up taking more resources than any of the past games did on romances.

My prediction is that the LI's will be similar to DA2 and just have 2 player sexual LI's per gender. If they do change it, I expect it to be like those in ME3: 1 "player sexual", 1 "same-sex", and 1 "opposite-sex" per gender but not based on race.

That'd be just a waste of resources. IMO if they make romances the best way is to make them player sexual because then everyone can use the content.

People that think a romance works out best for their rolepalying can then just go right ahead.

AND, there would the same options for all of the sexuality orientations. No one gets more or better or worse romances.
DA2's approach was perfect IMO.

Depends on the character, really. For example, Varric stated a couple of times that he's not into humans, so I'd be very happy if he was only availabe to female dwarves, if he is romanceable.

Depends on the character, really. For example, Varric stated a couple of times that he's not into humans, so I'd be very happy if he was only availabe to female dwarves, if he is romanceable.

A full romance path only availible for female dwarves would be the biggest waste of resources imaginable. You're creating content that only a minority upon a minority of players are even going to have access to.

It is hard to tell from the few screenshots we've seen of her, but I do agree that in the small glimpses we did get, she doesn't look old.

I assume Varric will be romancible, Bianca notwithstanding .
I assume Viv will as well.I think Gaider would have an aversion to romances where there was a wide age variance , so I suspect Viv isn't that old.

Yep i don't want racial restrictions. That would either mean greatly expanding the number of LI(therefore most likely diminishing their content to the level it would be virtually worthless) or offering no level of choice at all.

I feel your pain. I wanted Alistair in DA:O, Kaidan in ME1, and Thane or Garrus in ME2. My male character rejected by all of them, at least till ME3 with Kaidan.
