Dawn of the Seeker events took place in 9:22 (it may be 18 years old)
Alistair was born in 9:10 (just a comparison)
Cassandra asked Varric about Hawke in 9:40

So, assuming Cassandra was as young as she seemed in DotS, she'd be mid-thirties in DA:I.
If she was 18, she'd be 35/36, 19 --> 36/37...etc.
Though she may very well be 40 or above, I guess.
Me gusta.
No really, I'd love it if she was quite a bit older than the PC, though again, her appearance in the Fires Above trailer suggests otherwise.

So say for example that she was born 9:4... then she would have been 18 at Dawn of the Seeker, not at all impossible, which would place her at 35 at the end of DA2, again, not at all impossible (though she looked a wee bit younger than that in DA2 to be honest). Then that would place her at about 37 at the start of Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Sound alright to me. I always want my player character to look and feel as if they are between 30-40 anyways, unless the story demands that they are younger.

Do we actually know how old Cassandra was in 9:22? I'm guessing we are assuming she was at least 20-25 years at the time of Dawn of the Seeker, but isn't it possible she was younger? She seemed really inexperienced and young to me in the movie.

I have the book "the world of thedas" with me and I can confirm that the events of Dawn of Seeker are in 9:22.
She is very young but I'm sure she had 18 years old but there is no confirmation of his age during this period

Yes, I agree with you. She seems very young in DotS. And mid-thirties seems like a perfectly reasonable age for an LI. (Even though I do like to imagine my PCs pretty young, somewhere around 20. Guess I can better identify with them that way.)
Do we have any definite information on the ages of other LIs?
(If Alistair was born in 9:10, and the fifth blight took place in 9:30...does that mean he was 20 by the time of DA:O? Sems a bit young to me.)
And what about the other ones?

In one of the newest concept arts there is a man behind Cassandra and (supposedly) Cullen who looks a lot like a character from the leaked survey. Dorian, maybe?
I think he looks pretty fun.
Honestly, the guy just looks like a thinner version of Walter from Fable 3 to me.
Maybe he's the Grey Warden companion? They may have changed his design since the survey.

walter.
I doubt it, since he looks so much like another of the characters in the survey. Now that you mentioned it though I wonder what Beardy is up to. No sight of him yet in any of the released art.
Edit: Long Dick Johnson, as I've decided his name will now be, is also wearing white. I'd bet Sylvius that the Warden would wear the blue and silver as his default outfit.

I don't have much to add aside from why is it that being in her fifties means she can't get some lovin' ?Rakia Time wrote...
Vivienne is probably in her 50s, Varric has Bianca and Cassandra is a safe bet

Because Dragon Age is made to appeal to the mainstream audience, and young females would appeal more to them.grimmcreeper wrote...

I haven't looked at the survey pics in a long time and I don't remember a lot of it...other than that I called that the two hooded figures would be the male/female PC when I first saw it. (HA)
But our John Doe has a beard. And it's about high time we get a bearded LI. (Hm yes please)
How else are they gonna be competition for Cassandra and her sexy female manliness?

The only thing we know is that Cassandra is not as old as 40, via a tweet by Mike Laidlaw.Blackrising wrote...

Besides, DA:I will be a more open world, so maybe we can have some LI who are not companions too?

Does anyone else think that Cole is going to be a companion in DA3? He was in the leaked survey (even though Bioware claims it's not relevant).
If so, he'll probably end up as a romance interest. No attractive guy so far has ended up NOT being a romance interest (save Varric). So they wouldn't waste that chance.
You guys think people are crazy for liking Cassandra, calling her a sociopath.
I WOULD GO FOR COLE.
Cassandra seems pretty mellow now, eh?
Out of all the companions in the survey I think Cole is the least likely to have made it into the game - which would break my heart considering he's the one I want most.
But love interest status? That I don't know.
Let us say that he is a companion, for the sake of discussing the idea of his possibility of being a love interest.
Cole was depectived as not really being aware of anything concerning intimacy - or at least a litte ignorant. Whether this changes following his dramatic turn at the conclusion of Asunder remains to be seen, but he still could be a love interest (I hope he is though).

Well, we have the tweet from Mike saying that she's younger than 40, so it's a moot point. However, there has been no evidence to the contrary that time passes any differently for humans on Thedas than on earth. Looking at that timeline, which I wasn't familiar with since I haven't read most of the comics/books, it looks like she's mid-late 30's.
Vivienne, we don't have much to go on since she wears the mask. It's true that most of the other Senior Enchanters were on the older side, but that doesn't mean that she can't be around the same age as Cassandra. I always think of the Circle as being similar to academics. Most tenured faculty is older, but that doesn't mean that you don't see some younger (early 30's and up) tenured faculty. If Vivienne is as dedicated to her craft as the description makes her sound, then I don't see why we have to think she's older.
All that being said, I do think she's probably not an LI. I think Sera is a lock, she just seems like the Bioware femLI type, which means we'll probably get only one of either Cassandra or Vivienne and Cassandra just seems more likely.
Are we sure there are only going to be 2 of each gender again?
