Depends what you want. If you want more powerful inferno nades and rage, go with the Krogan. If you want a spawn nuker with awesome mobility, then the batarian.

BatSol; i love raping hunters and phantoms; just run up to a hunter and wait for him to unload his first shot, then give him a taste of his own medicine.

The batsol is also nicer to my cyclonic mods because power amp works well on him.

Both are awesome and very strong...

The Batarian has the knives but the Krogan you can skip carnage and basically dump the cooldown times completely.

So if you want to carry big guns, with all the mods you want then take the Krogan.

If you want to shoot knives and be a bad ass mofo then go for the Batarian.

just an honest question(s): would you take the batsol, krosol over the batsent, krosent? can anything the soldiers do here the sentinels can do better? or are they quite different playstyles?

I haven't played much at all with these two soldiers so just curious.

I haven't played much at all with these two soldiers so just curious.

At least in the case of the Krogan Sentinel, the one thing it can do better is work as a heavy weapons platform. Skipping incinerate and bringing the biggest, meanest weapons you can find. It works better than doing the same thing with the Soldier since Tech Armor provides better bonuses while active. Whereas Fortification requires you to use it a bit more actively to get the most out of it.

The Krosent is awesome but the batsent is terrible (outside of a specific biotic team). It is basically a tank with a choice of a single suboptimal power. Both soldiers you are talking about have incendiary grenades which can devastate spawns or bosses along with incendiary ammo. They are both very different to the batsent.

On Platinum KroSent > BatSol = KroSol >>> BatSent

KroSent can Incendiary glitch as well as either of the Soldiers (with full Damage Incinerate), has better survivability (Tech Armor has more DR), and better CC (Lift Grenade).

The brotarian is just so...brutal. He's a beast, a heartless, ugly, falcon punching, ballistic blading thug with no concern for the dignity of life. With a shotgun equipped batarian soldier, I feel invincible and omnipotent; there's nothing that can stand against him for very long.

I love them both, two of my favorite characters.  On a good team, I like the Krogan better because I love the Krogan melee and it's more fun to play.  But if I'm on a not-so-good team, I like the Batarian better, because he's probably a better overall character.
