Essentially the first 24 hours after you launch a game (download time is not factored) you have a grace period were if you do not like the game you can request a refund for any reason: game not working, not getting drawn into the story, just don't like it.

Honestly wow, this is a really nice addition.

If Origin wants to be considered a serious competitor to Steam, it needs to innovate. This is a step in the right direction.

Between this and the Humble Bundle I'm rather surprised by EA, even if the refund is only for their games.

Well, naturally, they can't speak on behalf of other publishers but it'd be nice if they followed suit.

I hope so. The lack of refunds and reselling is the worst part of digital downloads.

Origin still needs work, but this is a step in a direction where it will be my first choice to look for a game.  For me customer service is the most important thing its why I will leave any service and if Origin keeps improving their customer service and Steam keeps ruining my customer service experience it won't be hard for me to change it up.
