If Morrigan is taking orders i'll be very disapponted to say the least

Not only that, the Morrigan I know would never subject herself to a dress and a corset.

I am outraged.

Maybe morrigan you know never existed?

According to David Gaider, Morrigan has her own destiny. She may become an ally or an enemy, but she won't be anyone's agent.

She won't be taking a player's orders.

She will give advice though.

Unless she has changed greatly, she will not be very persuasive.

If it serves her purpose to blend in, she will do it.

Quite possible. Like the Ashley Williams of ME1.

Also she may be completely overridden by Flemeth, who loves dress and corset from what we've seen in DA2.

Seriously, that's not what I meant. Morrigan has a plan. If that plan requires wearing dresses in order to be taken seriously by Orlesian nobility, she will not hesitate to do it. It doesn't mean she has to like it. Although she might - she looks rather good in that dress, and she's always been a little vain.

Might not be overridden by Flemeth. Maybe she's still in the rebelious phase and Flemeth always told her that corset and dress were not appropriate for a witch of the wild, so the first thing she did was buy a new dress and corset (based on Leliana's advices). Than Flemeth shows up in DAI and tell her that she always loved corset and dress too.

I think that Flemeth love trolling her daughters.

Currently their a world war going on. Templars and rogue Seekers are out of control, and going on rapid apostate/mage killing spree. Morrigan is not the all powerful that some of you guys may think she is. She would be stupid not to affiliate herself to an organization that can turn out to be very powerful. She can benefit a lot from either becoming allies of the inquisition or becoming an actual member. Both parties can benefit from each other.

I imagine that she'll be involved in insuring that the Inquisitor miraculously survived the fade-tear disaster in much the way Flemmeth rescued the Warden and Hawke in the previous games. From that point on it's hard to say what her involvement will be. Personally, I think it would be kind of cool to have her as an adviser-type character who checked in with the Inquisitor once in a while to bring/gather information. Almost like Admiral Hackett, but with more snark and scathing, womanly scorn.

I see her more as a patron than an agent, though she might do some specific things for you that your agents do generally.

I suspect Morrigan has slept her way to the top in Orlais.
I expect her to be very persuasive and appear to be very different than she was in DAO.

As far as what I'm seeing, Morrigan is just going to be an helpful ally. She's going to be the one to lead the Inquisitor in the right direction.

Judging by this image, I think she might be working for the Empress.

Did they change the face model?
