^That's been posted several times already. Some of those people aren't companions.

kk Figured it had been. Just making sure all corners are covered. :)

When Gaider stated that no all of them are companions, have a feeling that he was referring to Cullen, so I'm kinda losing hope at this point. I just hope that the person next to the inquisitor is not Cullen. :P

Gaider said many characters in that concept art are not companions. We know that Varric and Cassandra are, but all the others could just be NPCs for all we know.

Speaking of companions, can someone explain to me how to make my forum an image hosted off-site? Because this needs to happen or I might die:

Leliana?
Yo be honest, I never got the fuzz about either Leliana nor Cullen. I simply have no feeling towards either one of them. I am not opposing it or anything. Just I rather have new exciting companions we have not been in team with before.

Fairly certain that's a female dwarf Inquisitor. Note the red sash around her waist that's been seen on all other Inquisitors in concept art, and she's significantly shorter than the elf standing beside her.

I don't particulary dislike Cullen, but I will if he took a fourth warrior slot at the expense of a rogue or a mage

And the justification "warrior is a common class" is BS, statistics are irrelevant when it comes to companions; what are the odds of a dalish bloodmage, a possesed former grey warden mage, a lyrium-boosted former Tevinter slave, a lustful pirate, an Orlesian guard captain and a shaved dawrven marchant-poet to follow the same person, and that person being a Ferelden refugiee in Kirkwall ? the odds are near naught, but that's what we got. So the "more warriors is okay because it's closer to the world" argument only exists because Cullen is a warrior and has a high probability to just be an important NPC

I'm just honestly not seeing them giving us three mages. They seem to be intentionally trying to prevent a full mage party.

That being said, I'd prefer it if Cullen isn't a party member- I like the guy, but we don't need him in our party for him to be a major player, or even a love interest for those who are really into him.

Cullen is probably best characted for 1 day DLC. He has pretty big funbase, so this DLC will be finance sucessfull no matter what.

Internet fandom =/= the entire fanbase.

Cullen may have a loud, very local fanbase. But that doesn't mean anything. Femshep has one. And only a minority actually played her.

It would be interesting if the DLC companion would be either the Warden or Hawke.

Shale would be fun, but what place would she have in DA:I exactly?

I was honestly hoping the blonde elf was Zevran. The elf's... arm motion seems like something Zevran would be familiar with. Plus he's one of the funnier companions from Origins and I wouldn't mind having him on my team again.

A little difference made in the personality of Leliana, Isabella and Morrigan will make them so awesome, not in the retarding direction though.

Cullen,Varric and Shale must be in the game.

Why would it be the fault of Cullen instead of the other 3 warriors? If he did become a warrior, it would been that it was planned long ago alongside with the other 3 warriors. It's strange to single one character out.

I was thinking about this and if Cole is a companion, he is lore-wise a mage, but mechanic wise a rogue. So that might be another nail in the coffin for a 3rd mage mechanic character.

A mage that died in the circle dungeon and came back as a demon rogue. He still screams DLC character to me.

That's a female elf, she's appeared in other concept art.

Her name as of last year was Sera, and she was (last we heard) a city elf who was torn between elven and human society. She was heavily involved in the criminal underworld and thieving.

Do we know if the dark-skinned lady in the Matt Rhodes piece and the marketing survey was an early concept for Vivienne? Or is she someone else?

Scribe Girl and Vivienne are separate characters.

Scribe girl also showed up in this concept art, standing next to Leliana:

Given that she made it out of that survey and into relatively recent concept art it seems as if she is an entirely different character than Vivienne, and if not a companion, an important side character like Leliana.

Oh it got confirmed that the red head is Leliana? I had a feeling it was her, but didn't know if it was confirmed or not.

Because he is the least likely; Cassandra is confirmed, Grey warden appears in the survey, several concept and more importantly in an alpha game footage. Iron bull only got the survey and some concept art but there are some devsstatements that there will be a qunari. But for Cullen, only one concept-art and the survey, everything else is belivium-fulled arguments from the fans. Besides he doesn't brings anything that Cassandra doesn't bring already

Now, Iron bull can be a rogue, which leaves the third warrior spot for Cullen...but that would shut the door for Cole

My problem with Cullen as a companion is that he takes the place of a potentially interesting companion while being quite redondant

While I don't have a stance of the possibility of Cullen as a companion, Cullen=/= Cassandra, as well Templars =/= Seekers.

Yes but their position on the confict are too similar, and also, Cullen companion would mean 3 battle-scarred human warriors, and 2 being former Chantry soldiers/agents

Of course Cullen is not Cassandra, but Cassandra/GW/Iron bull is way more diverse that Cassandra/GW/Cullen

The position of templars and Seekers in the conflict could very well be different. It was hinted in the concept art of the hooded guy with the rings that templars and Seekers might be different faction (and after the demo, the templars seems to have divided in two factions, since there was a red ring that would indicate the red templars in the concept).
About the diversity, it's not something I particulary care, since we had tons of content about the Wardens in the main games, expansion and the dlc, and we had two Warden companions. While the bearded Warden seems interesting, I'm indifferent about his role as companion, as I am to towards Cullen.
If there'll be three warrior, I'm fine with both the example you mentioned. I don't prefer one over the other.

For me is Cullen in the Game as companion because i don´t think that the Grey Warden is romance option. Therefore the game need a human male romance. And could be Cullen.
A big disappointment would be if the game hadn´t a templar companion. Sure a Seeker is nice but not same as a real Templar.

And by the way why is this Dalish Archer/Dagger girl not more possible?
