It's awesome to be able to jump into MP whenever I feel like it without having to swap disks.
And, before all we know, ME2's disks may well have had enough space for a MP mode, too. It may just be that that space was filled up on ME3's disks.
And, as a side note:
I personally felt that ME3's SP was a completely finished, incredible experience. Although I would never say no to more content, I would rather have a brilliant, fully-fledged MP, than a few extra lines of dialogue.
Whose bright idea was it to put multiplayer on both discs?
