Just wanted to say that the stuff you've been rolling out for us is uh-maze-ing. Seriously.

We don't often take the time we should to say "thank you" - or to realize that all this marketing stuff - all the videos, artwork, panels, interviews - they take a lot of time away from your work, your time with family, your downtime away from Bioware.

So thank you. Really.

If there are other members of the community that are amenable, I'd like some of us to take a minute and post a small discussion of the things you've seen so far that you are really super pumped about. Let our devs know that we appreciate even just these small details (even the jerkiest of jerk BSN'ers should be able to think of something. Even if it's a backhanded "I'm not going to buy this game, but if I were I would be excited about...*blank*").

I'll go first.

*RACES (OMG. I am THE.HAPPIEST.DWARF.EVER)
*The focus on exploration and reactivity. Second.best.news.ever.
*New and varied environments
*Tactically challenging new enemies
*The world looks so gorgeous. Thank you for the repeated eyegasms. I look forward to more.

Also, I'd like to say to Mike Laidlaw, Mark Darrah, Cameron Lee, Aaryn Flynn, Patrick Weekes. You guys look good. Confident. Well-rested. Even if it's just an act, the fans have noticed how excited you guys are. It looks good on you.

*eyebrow wiggle*

Okay, thread full of positivity, and.... GO.  Image IPB

Have bowstrings been confirmed yet?

Well, I mean it's a big step.  At what point does it become simply "Dragon Age in name only!"  Is nothing sacred!? =]

I actually always found the blood a bit silly, especially in DAO. I turned it off... haha.

It wasn't so bad in DA2, although it did have a fantastic bug during development, where the algorithm to keep it away from the eyes got reversed, causing the blood to ONLY appear near the eyes. And since there isn't much real estate, you end up with a Hawke with some pretty intense, poorly applied red eye makeup that was actually quite horrifying.

Deleted some posts. As a note, no need to follow me into this thread to tell me something you've already told me in other threads....
