Have bowstrings been confirmed yet?
Well, I mean it's a big step. At what point does it become simply "Dragon Age in name only!" Is nothing sacred!?

Multiple races are a big big plus (throw in a tool set and its a winner)... however I'll reserve my excitement until the game launches. At the moment TW3 is number 1 on my list with DA:I a distant second (I do hope it kicks backside, but at the moment I am only slightly warm to what I have seen so far... I can't stand the the 4 musketeers hat, sorry... I expect Errol Flynn to lift his head and grin).
This is the great thing about their improved armor system -- all the armor pieces have different, and optional, pieces. So there should be something in there for everyone.
I'm really excited that our Inquisitor will have the chance to be fashion-forward. I don't want to be laughed out of Orlais simply because I'm dressed like a bumpkin (and while I wouldn't expect that kind of reactivity, my headcanon is important to me). I always had a hard time resisting the non-armored noble's clothes in DA:O, even though they were nothing compared to this.
I like the idea that I can play once as a sneaky hooded hide-in-the-shadows rogue, and again as a rogue but this time as a total dandy and a charmer.

I am a mother of two boys, 20 and 13. I started playing dragon age when my oldest told me that Kate Mulgrew, my favorite actress, was voicing one of the characters, so I watched him play for a bit and was hooked, I bought my own copy and never looked back.
I love the dragon age games and I even played the mass effect trilogy, not as great as dragon age, but still great games. I watch my great niece who is 16 months old and she loves to watch a video before nap time, so we watch dragon age game footage. She loves dragons now!
So keep up the great work Bioware, there is a whole new generation of fans out there.

I have never posted before, I am pretty shy and can't handle those that tend to flame others they don't agree with or whatever, but this topic I can get behind.

ooooh dude, I would have to seriously disagree with you on that one. "Fixed" DA2 has less blood, but Pre-Patch DA2's bloodletting was the height of absurdity...Allan Schumacher wrote...
I actually always found the blood a bit silly, especially in DAO. I turned it off... haha.
It wasn't so bad in DA2, although it did have a fantastic bug during development, where the algorithm to keep it away from the eyes got reversed, causing the blood to ONLY appear near the eyes. And since there isn't much real estate, you end up with a Hawke with some pretty intense, poorly applied red eye makeup that was actually quite horrifying.
I still recall the DA2 Demo, once completed, the player was treated to a billboard that contained 3 reviewer quotes, one of which was "Blood is everywhere..." and it was until they 'fixed' the blood 'bug'.

heck I bought a copy of mass effect series and da:o & da2 for my cousin who has open up about her sexual orientation of having an attraction to both sexes.she is a fan of video games on and off but when I gave her a copy of those games. she feel in love with it because she able to play a character of her own choosing ..Who was not judge by their sexual origination not by anyone of any type of group..for that she said she really enjoy it. ^^ so thanks for that.

But, what I really wanted to say is how much I appreciate the Bioware people who are here, hanging out with us. Giving us insights into the developing process, teasing us, treating us like human beings rather than customers. You guys, all of you, are amazing, and it just makes being a bioware fan such a cool thing.
I've never bought a product before and had the opportunity to discuss it with the creators, forget joking around with them on a regular basis. I'm slightly star-struck to be honest, but it also makes me feel incredibly important and listened to.
Thank you.

I am so excited for DAI. What I am most looking forward to are...
-Multiple playable races. I could NOT stop smiling when I heard this
-More map area to explore. I am an unapologetic map completionist. I LOVE to explore!
-The story sounds intriguing. Being an Inquisitor never sounded so good to me. Can't wait to hear more!
-The return of Varric (a favorite of mine) and the chance to get to know Cassandra and fight by her side!
-The continued ability to make decisions for our character that matter. There is no Rp without choice.
-Armor for ourselves and followers looks amazing! I'm also a fan of the snazzy (Three Musketeers) hat.
-Horses are looking really cool! Love the idea. I am hoping that we get a choice of color? Maybe? :innocent:
For all these things and all the stuff I forgot to mention, I thank you Bioware.
I do have to make a special shout out to you guys for a few more things. Namely, allowing us to play as a female character, making such amazing Female followers/characters, As well as the inclusion of same-sex romances. The inclusion of these three things is something not many game companies are putting much priority on. I, for one Thank You from the bottom of my heart for it. <3

It seems that I'm the only one excited about being able to give orders to people. They said we'd have agents to work for us as the inquisitor. That would be so fun! My warden was evil so I'll try to be a little less evil in DAI. But I love the whole leader of your own organization idea
You're not the only one! This is actually one of the most exciting of the new developments for me. I enjoyed both playing through the Warden's story as a classic heroic epic, and in Hawke's case as a more intimate tale of someone caught up in the maelstrom of larger events. I was always hoping though (especially in Hawke's case, given the "rise to power" tease that didn't quite eventuate) that we as the player could actually rise to power and grow to leadership.
This focus in Inquisition on leading your organisation and making decisions that will shape what it does and how it engages with the world is the kind of thing I was hoping for, and I look forward to hearing more about it. I love the idea of leadership, but in a role-playing context, where you can give orders and make crucial decisions, but unlike a strategy game, it's from one person's perspective and they don't always work out as hoped.
I'm especially keen to see how much the Inquisition changes to reflect your choices and the path/s you take it down.
