Whenever I try to talk to Garrus, this happens:
Garrus: Commander, I wanted to thank you.
Shepard: What for, Garrus? (only dialog option to continue the conversation)
Garrus: For everything. Taking me with you. Letting me be part of your team. I've learned a lot.
Garrus: I'm uh... Thanks, Commander.
Shepard: You're Welcome Garrus (or if I select the bottom option, "That's quite a speech, Garrus")

and then the dialog quits, and Garrus just turns around without saying a word. If I try to talk to him again, the sequence loops. At first I thought this was caused by my really scratched up disc, so I bought a brand new one from amazon. That didn't fix it, so I thought maybe my savegame was glitched. I started a brand new Shepard, and when I got to the point where Garrus says that dialog again, the error still occurs. I have no idea what to do now.

I swear it didn't happen to me on my earlier playthroughs of ME. Are you certain?

from what i hear it is a glitch, supposedly more conversation options after. If not it is a really strange way for bioware to finish Garrus conversation progression.
