So what pack would you buy if you were in my postion? I'm guessing Premium Spectre Packs are the way to go.

I have pulled quite a few Ultra Rares from Reserves Packs. But the RNG is the RNG.

The last week i was able to play more than usual, so i spent 500k -600k on pack every day. I got 3 UR-s only. Before that is only had 130ish K to spend per day and got 2 UR-s. RNG is RNG.

So, at this point you realized that you are far away from a maxed manifest...
That there is no way to get geth the UR  at a decent drop rate, not with the PS, or PSP, or AP or whatever pack the trollstore could offer...

I have played 971 hours, 2603 matches, and still 41 UR missing before the end... Sigh...

the only real suggestion I can give you is... Play only gold or platinum, because for sure I have lost so much time\\money with that silver level for the first 6 months....

The only advice I can give you is don't buy packs while in lobby. I used to do this for the longest time and hardly got any URs. Once I started buying packs only after playing a while and leaving the lobby, then immediately after signing in first time of the day, my URs skyrocketed.

I've never seen anyone mention this, but saving a couple hundred thousand creds then buying 1 or 2 ASAP when you first sign in to MP for the day greatly increased my drop rate. I was getting 1-2 a day for a couple weeks straight for around 500,000 creds spent. Try it.

I don't know what I just did, but I just received 1 Harrier, 1 Venom Shotgun, 1 Typhoon and 1 Lancer with three PSP in a row.

I was going to try my "buy 1 premium pack of each assortment" but I gambled and just went PSP crazy.


So... if you buy a PSP with a UR, then does that mean to keep buying them one after another?

I'm trying to crack the code of an RNG...

Get 3 friends farm platinum and buy spectre packs if after ya spend 500k and got nothing don't buy till another day some days store just trolls you. Its still gonna take you another 200 hours though 300 if you play gold.

Similar happened to me about five months ago but with AP

UR,UR,Cons,Double UR,UR. best run ever, also got a couple the following day and one the day after that.

8 UR out of 16 packs bought.

Now just one Spitfire to go.

im saving up gonna try and hit 10 million credits

I had pretty good luck saving a bit - 3 to 5m - and getting arsenal packs in bulk (on PC - which is close to max - 9 more to go), but I would say if you're low on consumables then spam regular Spectre packs as you can afford them until you've stocked back up.

I remember maxing my rares and all the other mods/gear/characters, and thinking I was so close. I was oh so wrong

Finished today at ~730 hrs. I started recording my PSPs (only thing I bought) since July the 2nd. The numbers are 104 urs/580 psps.

There's no point in saving up money and buying packs in bulk, it doesn't affect anything. You may as well buy a pack after each game.

Just wanted to point it out just in case anyone was wondering whether saving up and buying in bulk increases your ultra rare drop rate, I'm 100% certain it doesn't. I always used to purchase a 99k pack as soon as enough funds were available, and I maxed out in a little under 600 hours. I always get people asking me whether they should be saving up money and what packs to buy, and I always tell them that it's okay to spend your money straight away, and you can buy anything you like from spectre packs to arsenal packs.

Also, there doesn't seem to be any difference between any of the 99k packs. I received many weapons from reserves packs, and unlocked several characters from buying arsenal packs.

Spectre packs seem to be very popular, many people seem to have decent drop rates from these packs.

Like XFG said, after maxing out all stuff there`s no difference between PSP, AP and RP in terms of getting UR card.

And I never bought 1 or 2 packs, always min 1 million (mostly 3 million for shopping day).

Biggest bulk after reckoning DLC (maxed manifest before):
took 24 million to max the 4 URs and all other things - alternating those three 99k packs.

I just finished maxing out my manifest the other day. I set myself a goal to get one UR a day when I still needed about 60. I would grind Platinum games and then buy packs until I got an UR and save the rest of my credits for next time, if I had any left over. This really helped me from burning out or giving up because I had this mini goal that eventually led me to accomplishing my bigger goal of maxing my manifest. Good luck!

At least you're actually close needing less than 10.  Hopefully your drought will end soon.

I've been playing a lot less so that probably doesn't help my situation.

 

My lowest is the Lancer which needs 6 to get to X. Also the Valiant and Harrier need 5.

Congrats!!! That sounds like a pretty good strategy. Will give it a try since I play a lot of Platinum. Thanks!
