Spend the cash on the PSPs.  Don't be cheap.  No Balls, no blue chips....

 

It just gets bad when you get that itch, and roll up to the "one armed bandit" - the great wheel of Fate, also known as RNG.  Watch the creds sink and all, but any Gambler knows to keep enough in reserve to get a few more drinks.  I mean, with the Reapers coming, its not like I have to worry about next months rent, or the car note...  Sit back, man!  Have another drink!  We like our customers, so here's one on the house!

 

I saved up 10 million creds, and went on a binge - sure to get those last few URs.  Well, then they kicked me out of the apartment.  And they Repo'd my ride, took my Hovercycle too.  *hic*  Its all the Reapers fault man!  They stole my life, them darn repuginatious Reapers!

 

So, I took out a loan from these Salarians.  Slimy fast talkers supported by slick-as-snot Volus Mercantile Credit Unlimited.  Well, when I lost all that they said I had to pay up, OR ELSE.  So, I flipped them the bird, you know, why not?  The very next day on Omega I get paid a visit from none other than Zaeed Massani, showing me the pics of my new home, detention block AA21.  Hard place man.  Didn't look pretty, with all of those Batarians and Elcor roaming about with their hands in their pockets.  Where in the heck am I gonna get smokes?  Cash, grass, or um....  your pride - Nobody rides for free!  Unless you got smokes.

 

So, I took a gamble - once more into the great fire, a brave level one Human Soldier.  I got my trusty M-8 (deadly on Full Auto) and I am off to kick the Collectors right in their Daddybags.  That's right, no bronze for me - I'm going for Platinum!  See you on the other side, suckers!

I've been playing a lot less so that probably doesn't help my situation.

 

My lowest is the Lancer which needs 6 to get to X. Also the Valiant and Harrier need 5.

30 drops away is an eternity, I'm in the same boat. I've been fortunate lately with lots of quality platinum PUGs. Just keep stacking those credits

If you play at least 8 hours a day you should be halfway finished with unlocking URs by the time Mass Effect 4 comes out.

Right with you Home-Skillet--I started a PS3 manifest 2 weeks ago...maxed commons....most un-commons...thru..recruit packs and veteran packs....almost there.....occasionally  treated myself to a reserve pack (1) which netted me the Paladin and Shadow in the same pack...and Arsenal Pack...netted me Collector Rifle 1 and Geth SMG 1 ...so party on

Didn't feel like making a new thread for it, but I maxed my manifest just now. Been playing an absolute ton recently, and quite a lot of it was pug'ing Platinum. I already sort of miss the grind, I don't know how much longer I'll be playing for, or even what packs I should buy now.

 

I would link my manifest, but it hasn't updated in a while for some reason. It still claims I'm missing a Punisher and 2 Spitfires when I'm clearly not.

What worked of me was maxing my consumables first and save up a bunch of credits.  Though that was my pre-DLC hoarding days.  I do miss those times, just playing plat with some friends.  Even brought some folks who were worried about platinum in and they loved it.  If you have plenty of friends who still play, ask them to join you and save 5 million.  Buy what you want, I mostly bought SPs because I wanted more weapon amps.

I finally maxed all my Rare weapons, now I just need to get my Ultra Rares done. All my Weapon Mods and Gear are maxed as well. Standing at 403 hrs and 1221 games played. I feel like I'm so close to a maxed manifest, yet so far at the same time. For now I will just be excited that my Rares are done.

So what pack would you buy if you were in my postion? I'm guessing Premium Spectre Packs are the way to go.

I'm probably not going to try to max my manifest on this account but noticed I just now maxed all my rares at 301h 3m 40s played, just curious how I was doing compared to the "average". Also if it matters any to anyone I also already have 48 out of 210 urs unlocked. Except for about a dozen or two games at the very start, I've been playing gold exclusively, I don't find platinum fun.

x_ DonMarfil_x  has played 272 hrs for maxing rares (Oh wait, one Acolyte is missing), Playing gold except for the very beginning.

Once you have all the Rares it should take about 140 million to get and max all the URs. You're both in the needing-something-well-over-100-million zone. Only you know how long that takes.

 

When I wanted to max my manifest, I needed something like 100 URs so I pugged Gold, never bought consumables except when desperate, saved at least 10 million at a time and spent it exclusively on Arsenal Packs. Getting a dozen or two dozen URs in a shopping session was more encouraging than encoutering the long gaps between URs on a pack-by-pack basis.

It usually takes between 1000 and 1400 hours to complete the manifest, assuming you're playing Gold. You're doing fine so far. ^^
