I need it. I MUST have it. It's .. it's the PERFECT HAT!!! My Inquisitor will be pimpin' and show you the Wonders of Thedas.

It simply MUST be in the final game. BioWare, I plead you, on my knees (I am literally on my knees writing this right now (and it's uncomfortable!)), gimme da hat!

Imagine it would be a magic hat that's possessed by a spirit. A spirit that's very talkative and a passionate Jack Sparrow impersonator.

It looks good, but I plan on using a greatsword. The clipping would be horrendous.

If that hat is indeed an equippable item in the game (and it is accurately represented in the concept art) then I will be using console commands to give that item to my char before I enter the first voluntary conversation/cutscene.

Oh and pertaining to all things hats here's a request to Bioware: Please don't auto-unequip hats in conversations/cutscenes like in DA2. Let our inquisitor wear his/her hat of swag at all times if we so choose.

That is one mighty fine hat! I may have to name my Inquisitor after a Musketeer in it's honor...

If this game doesn't have a romance option with that hat I'm not buying it.

Only problem is that picture is an early sketch, and now they have worked towards hats like the ones Vivienne bears, and you can't hide them. Back to good old Origins where you would rather take the extra damage than have your mage or rogue wear something that ugly :-)

Ok, joking aside. That armor including the hat does look awesome. Still hoping for a hide helm option for both PC and companions though, as they do tend to be somewhat ugly - yes, I'm still looking at you Vivienne

Maybe an item specific toggle? That you can specify directly in the inventory if you want to see the hat/helmet equipped or not, etc.!

That would vertainly do it. It's a small thing, but if we don't have our sense of fashion even in a game, what do we have? Posted Image

Not bad, but it needs a feather of some sort for the full peacock effect.

I've always thought a "take off helmet in cutscene" option should be available. Your character would then be seen taking off their helmet and holding around their arm. Though that might be too much work, considering different hair styles, body types, clipping issues etc. Might be more hassle than it is worth. But at least it'd be better than the headgear that simply pops out of existence.

:P

Customizable armor ... wasn't it teased at? Besides, game plays in Orlias for a good part. I bet there will be feathers aplenty!

Good point. Non Orleisian hat - a feather, Orleisian hat - plonk the whole peacock on there.

Orlesian style not recommended for parties. Nervous birds have lose bowels.

Ooh, I've got it, replace the mabari with the Orlesian battle peacock which may be affixed to your hat for a combat bonus. (Not to mention +5 to style)

DAT HAT! DAT LEATHER! He looks like pure candy in those 'tight' leathers! He oozes eyecandy, has to be chased by girls day and night!

It's gonna turn me off sooooo hard if the armors are class restricted. Oh man, just thinking about it makes me sick.:(
I want this armor set for my Blood Mage.

To be honest... with how silly BSN is at times with things they are disgruntled by, I expected the hat to be meme'd and made fun of by now, followed by berating. Weird.
