I think it's quite telling that a thread about that hat got eight pages and is still on page one after five days of its original conception.

Also I really want to know who designed that hat, it's not exactly the same direction Dragon Age has taken with its other costumes (though in this case going in a different direction may have paid off). I'd like to know the thought process that went into creating it.

Perhaps Bioware should start giving the option to pre-cancel games? It would cut out a lot of work for those who wish to cancel their pre-orders

While I'm at it, a crow or raven pet would also be very much appreciated by those players who aren't dog persons.
I would like to know that as well - but really, after DA2 a new direction was very much needed, in visual art as well as in gameplay. DA2 dispensed with the cleavage on light armors for women featured by DAO, and for that I'll always be thankful, but I found the visual style of most clothing and armor unappealing, with the exception of some stuff from the DLC equipment packs. Helmets were a particular "fashion offense", to the point that I kept them switched off. I think it's perfect the way it is. The only thing this hat needs is a good moustache!
