Seriously, the search engine of this forums is the weakest I've seen in decades.
I'm not talking about highly useful option like "Search this Thread", but like searching for entire posts (not only the titles), members or newest/oldest entry.
It's not possible to find anything useful with this topic search alone and there are also to many threads with the same content (how surprisingly).
Now with all the Mass Effect content being stored here, it won't get any better.
Please implement a better search function for the forums

Also, is there a group search function? That'd be nice.

How the hell do you search these forums at all? I do not see a search form anywhere.

They do not like it when you search for anything here as it tends to melt the servers and kill the site.

They turned both of them off when the release of ME2 occurred. They also reduced moderation to cover nothing but the absolute most blatant of bad behavior. As a result, many regular readers of the game-specific forums here are actually playing games, not reading anything coming through, because chaos isn't at all enjoyable.Red Rooster23 wrote...

Wouldn't do a fat lotta good to have the Search Function on anyway, when it would be hard pressed trying to avoid Troll Thread results.

They aren't sharing their thoughts about this subject with the mere plebian game players in here. We can guess that after the first week of DA: O's release, and the equally intense week when RtO was supposed to release, that they already know their server farm isn't capable of handling the kind of traffic involved, without some hiccoughs. For all we know, "Search" makes big demands on those servers, so they removed the links to keep the load down a little!
