Mounted combat?

As an equestrian/medieval reenactor, I have real-life experience with mounted combat, and I have been consistently disappointed with game mechnics for it. Mount and Blade is the only thing I can think of that's really gotten it right, and their jousting mechanic is a joke (personally, I wouldn't make the choice to include jousting in a video game). I won't be complaining if they give it a shot, even if it's not great, but I also won't be upset if they choose to forego it, especially since mounts are a new mechanic already. I guess I'm just curious as to whether or not they plan to incorporate it, or if it's a priority at all for them.
Thoughts?

With the introduction of horses (the one in today's video looks good, by the way!) will Inquisition have mechanics for mounted combat?

It's almost impossible to do well, and would take a large amount of time and effort for, what in my view would be a niche thing, but done badly why bother having ti?
So, either spend alot of resources and time getting animations and affects right, balancing the damage bonus for charging etc, etc, etc, to get what would be marginal benefit, or don't have it and dismount to fight,. I'd rather the second and spend the resources else where.
