No, that's not chav! Chav would be more like getting confronted by the antagonist and being like, "U wot m8???"

My almost diplomatic chav: "U wot mage? Close the veil or I'll shank ya, I swear on me mum!"

Anything, except a British accent (English, Welsh, Northen Irish, Scottish) or American accent.

How about South African or Australian?

So any accent? :P

Seriously though, there is no Dalish accent.

If the Dalish are nomadic, then each group will have a distinct accent.

I'd be fine with a number of accents.

Fereldan--we've had quite a few british accents so far (I'm aware that there are many different English accents, but we've heard the "standard" one a lot). That said, I wouldn't hate to have another one, though it'd be nice to have a new one.

Orlesian--We haven't had an Orlesian PC, and I think it would be kinda cool. Everybody freaking out about French accents should, in my opinion, calm down a little. I'm sure the team wouldn't pick obnoxious ones for the PCs. And I don't really mind them.

Starkhaven--A Scottish accent would be cool.

I think Orlesian is the most likely.

Yes! As someone who's accent is similar, (BUT DEFINITELY NOT), Geordie, that would be really nice. Especially if we get to say "Toblerone-Rolo Combo"!:D

Don't forget they can shuffle members around (notably mages). The Dalish are likely an accent free-for-all.

I assumed that it was what we got in DA2, considering it was a change from what we heard from the clan in Origins. Seems to me like it would be a relatively safe assumption based off the information we have (unless I missed some bit of information where individual clans have different accents ofcourse).

Well they picked a good voice actor for Leliana and Riordan.  Actually the voice actor for Riordan would be ideal
if one of the Inquisitors has an Orlesian background.  He has a great voice.

And it would be quite nice for at least one of the Inquisitor choices to have a Scottish accent too.

That said, I definitely expect all dwarves to have a North American accent, for continuity. Wouldn't feel right otherwise.

Hillbilly yank. Sorta like Cletus from the Simpsons. I would like to hear lots of "them-there's" sprinkled in whenever he/she is chatting with those fancy city folk.

orlesian/french would be interesting but i can see it causing a lot of whining from those who find french accents grating

starkhaven/scottish would be pretty awesome

if we gotta do english accents again, maybe west country?

Hopefully a Brooklyn accent.

Brooklyn Rage! Heh heh, anyways I think it will probably be "fereldean." I don't mind really, I'm just concerned about the voice actor.

Fereldan would be fine.

It would be really nice if we could pick the area our Inquisitor hails from and determine the accent that way.

If we want great voices I keep thinking someone like Liam Cunningham would be fantastic to have.
Also Rehire Elliot Cowan for DA:I. He's got this nice lispy voice that's instantly recognizable and it's only today I realized he was Ser Perth.

Starkhaven would be cool but I'm Scottish so I'm biased like that

wouldn't know, i've never touched fable. mostly i thought of it because it's the typical pirate accent (think barbossa from pirates of the caribbean) and i'm a shamelessly biased fan of that.

Whichever accent they choose I hope the actors are native to the accent they're portraying. I've heard enough fake Orlesian accents for all 3 games.
