I'm sure I'm pushing it but I'd love to see couple different voice actors so can choose the voice you want for your inquisitor to have. But like I said I'm sure I'm asking for to much

I'd like a nice elegant, Liliana french, sophisticated accent for female Inquisitor..
for male ummm anything I guess..

But a well done French accent that isn't overblown for comedic effect a la MoTA  will surely change many of the nay-sayer's minds.

wont the accent vary..because of the different ethnicity you will play? I keep thinking it's going to be different voice cast for each Race and you also have the female role and male so that likes about  6 voice actors.. or are they going to use only two..hm.. never my.. i keep thinking like what they did in swtor which i found very cool for each class to haev a different voicr actor.. any way i just keep thinking that the accent is going to vary...becuase of the different voice cast even if its only two actors or up 6 of them

It really depends on where the Inquisitor potentially comes from, and of course what voice options we'll be given.

There shouldn't be any change in VO among the different races. Race-based accents is such a ridiculous idea. I want all Orzammar natives to have North American accents, but I'm hoping we'll have some dwarves with English, French, or other accents as well.

I'm expecting the majority of characters to have English accents, however. If we see a lot of Orlais, and all Orlesians have appropriate accents, I think the forumites will set the BSN on fire.

+1 for Riordan's actor, though.

Something different .. like a Bahamian accent. It's a bit like Creole accent with less French to it.

nothing has been said yet regarding voice actors and how many but that's a good question hopefully we get an answer some time down the road.

As far as I'm concerned, the only thing that could possibly rival a sassy Ferelden accent a la Hawke would be a sassy Orlesian one.

I'd really like some variety from the whole "Fereldan saves the day" thing DA:O and DA:II had.

Its something I hear alot of. Being raised with it. So it's kinda a personal taste for me.

A genuine one, not a fake one. Get a native speaker to do the accent.

A native french speaker and accent. I want to play an orlesian in Orlais. I don't want to play another fereldan for a while. Hopefully we get protags from different regions the next so many games, each with their own native accents. That's one of the cool things about Thedas. I don't want same ol', same ol' all the time.

Edit: If by some miracle we end up with multiple options, I wouldn't mind a few different accents, but only so long as orlesian/french is one of them. I'm playing orlesian if I can.

Not for the Inquisitor but for a companion, or the Inquisitor I dont care which. Someone from Starkhaven and swears alot. Mostly cause I think either Scots of the Irish are the best at swearing...and this isnt because im Scottish

As long as the voice actor is speaking in their native accent and not doing something absurd like a fake French, I'm fine with anything.

I get the feeling there will only be one male and one female VA, though. It'd probably be way too expensive to hire more.
