It's not a huge spoiler in any case. Judging from the scene it's right from where you recruit him. You shouldn't take these scenes out of context; there's many ways to interpret what he means.

Maybe he means it as in "I'm dying inside" from all these killings. The scene was shown after a guy said "He feels remorse whenever he kills."

I don't think that's a major spoiler considering the location, it seems he tells you that shortly after he preforms his last assassination. While I understand people being upset about this you just have to accept that the closer to the release date the more spoilers that will be. Only time will tell how large it is.

It's a spoiler, but at the same time it makes you want the game even more because we have no idea what in the world is going on. But that's gonna be a crappy LI if Thane is going to die in a year or so. Unless you're into the dramatic endings.
