You may or may not have heard of a survival horror game called Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for the gamecube
The makers of the game are trying to make a spiritual successor called Shadow of the Eternals for PC and maybe Wii U and PS4.
Anyone interested click here
What ever happens I highly recommend finding and playing Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem.

I started playing Eternal Darkness on a friend's Gamecube a while ago. Didn't manage to continue playing for some time now, but the 4-5 or so hours I played were damn good! Fun gameplay, interesting characters and great atmosphere! I'm really sad this was never re-released on different platforms, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
Haven't followed the relaunched Shadow of the Eternals campaign so far, but I was there when they, sorry, ****ed up their first attempt. It was just a mess, from the way too high inital goal to the ridiculously confusing organization of the non-Kickstarter/Kickstarter crowdfunding efforts. The friend who owns Eternal Darkness was a backer of the aborted first campaign (and this one as well, I'm sure) - he followed the campaign, was in the forums etc and still he and I had trouble finding out certain details of their plans.
I like the folks behind the project, as I have Eternal Darkness as proof of what they're capable to do, and I think it's a shame their Kickstarter will likely fail. But I can't say I'm surprised. Eternal Darkness, as good as it is, simply doesn't have that big a following by being a rather obscure Nintendo exclusive. The goal of both campaigns seems to have been too high to be achieved by the existing interested fanbase, and the first suffered from the various communication and coordination failures, which may have scared away potential new backers (I know I got a bad feeling).
Hopefully the project won't die after the Kickstarter failure, maybe they'll find another way to realize it. I know I'd love to play it on PC or maybe the PS4 someday.

Another Kickstarter for this game?
Knowing that the tosser responsible for Too Human and X-men is involved is enough to put me off. I don't care if he isn't in a position to affect the game. I'd rather support something useful like Chineasy.
And Kickstarter is one massive suckers trap.
