Read the lore about 2183-86 Earth and comeback. Entire races are phasing out, do you really think that "urban accents" are a thing in a well funded and cultured society?

Do we think that accents are a thing in society?

You mean like today? Yes.

You can learn a majority of your accents in school. Most teachers don't teach urbanian. Unless you count urban dictionary as school.

You sound way too defensive about accents. They're a beautiful thing. Not something you should hope we move past.

You don't learn accents in school, you pick it up from your surroundings.

You spend a lot more time in school than you think. School's important, kids.

I don't care one way or the other, it's just not something I see lasting on a planetary scale, if you catch my drift. Jacob being on of two people to have it doesn't really help.

You spend more time with your family and friends. You don't get taught accents, you pick it up from your surrounding. Even teachers have accents,

Jacob isn't one of two, all the human characters have really distinct accents.

Eh, all are debatable. Honestly I don't feel like debating them, but if you want to keep this conversation going, sure.

Variations in accent and dialect are never going away. No matter what you do, no matter how educated the general population is, there's always going to be some distinction between the ways people talk in one part of the world compared to another.

Let's face it, there are at least a dozen different sub-accents within each accent. If I say 'American', I could be meaning Northern, Southern, Western, South Western, Texan, Californian, etc. Even two hundred years into the future, you're looking at potentially MORE accents, not less.

I feel a big missed opportunity happened in ME3. During the party in the Citadel DLC, he and James needed to have an ab-off. They needed to put to bed who had the best abs.

No they don't. They just need to put these characters to bed in general.

I don't need chill dudes, I need psychos who when I say jump ask how high and then then throw their mama's in the air if I require it. Not someone who will just pretend to do all those things but in reality, does not even have legs.

I'm with you then..But I would hold that against Jacob, Kaidan, and Garrus alike. And then some.

Jack is psycho enough for all of them.

I'd say Shepard and Jack both make up for it. But they don't play up Shepard's craziness enough. You only hear it secondhand (from Vega. He even compares femshep to Jack.).

I don't remember him comparing her to Jack. When does that happen?

At Grissom. But it depends on the squad dynamic.

It's one of my gripes about the ME3 crew though. I always thought Shepard was "loco" as he puts it, but Shep is surrounded by chill people in the new crew. So it feels lonely in a way.

Yeah, Shepard is crazy. He told his squad to charge at a Reaper, dodge it's legs, and fight half a dozen brutes. I'm pretty sure Tuchanka was just a joke by BioWare to show how crazy Shepard really is. And don't even get me started on Rannoch.

Dodging the destroyer and brutes on Tuchanka is so much better if you take James. He's basically freaking out that you're diving into this death trap. I kinda wish that we had this kind of insanity in Priority: Earth, evading reaper feet while they dropped horrible monsters.

Don't tell me you didn't like that though.

The game need more Tuchanka and Rannoch. Just go full gusto with the whole Godzilla thing.

This ain't high school, who cares if he wasn't popular he was a corsair. Some type of backstory could have been introduced.

Jacob was the star of Mass Effect Galaxy which might have some backstory if you care enough to buy it.  I wikid it.

I liked the idea of Jacob he was suppose to be the normal guy on the ship who even with his daddy issues didn't actually need you to help him deal with it however fshep prescripted hitting on him made me run away at convo 2. I couldn't stand her flirting and so I didn't bother with him she ruined any progress that could've been made with him as a person for me.
