I highly doubt there will be a VA for each race. However, MAYBE the could do 2 males and 2 female voices. Then we could choose which one we wanted. That would be nice, but I think it will probably be too expensive on the budget both financially and in terms of diskspace.

I actually wish we could have one male voice, one female voice, and then a slider to change the pitch. That way our Inquisitor could have a very deep or high voice or anything in between, but the cost would not be obscene.

what if Bioware let you change the pitch and tone of the voice in the Cc then they wont have to do multiple recordings, if the sims3 can do it I'm sure DA can.

Disc space isn't really an issue anymore, considering next-gen consoles will have blu-ray drives.

I doubt there would be more than one male, one female, but maybe they'll surprise us. Probably best to keep expectations realistic at this point.

A human and elf sounding the same is understandable, but an elf and dwarf sounding the same is just awkward.

Not expecting it but I will be even more impressed with them if it turns out they have more than 2 voice actors for the inquisitor.

Don't need 6, the races didn't sound THAT different from one another.  It's all humans doing the voicing anyway.

I really think they might do a one voice for all kind of thing. I think they'll try to find some middle ground for a voice style so it can match any of the 6 inquisitor's. It's too much work.

Considering the game is coming out on both current and next gen consoles, it is still a concern.

It would be cool if they hired 2 VA that are talented enough to do Human, Elf and Dwarf.

They can go to 2 discs if they have to. Games have done it before.

I'm perfectly fine with one for male and one for male.
There are voice actors that can pull off all the three races.

I hope so. At the very least I hope there's a difference between the voices, even if it's done by the same voice actor. I just can't imagine how a voice that fits an elf would also fit a dwarf. Looking forward to hearing from BioWare on this subject, whenever that happens.

All voices, male and female, will be done by Patrick Stewart.

Semi-confirmed rumor.

Do I write the check to Stewart or to Bioware?

ZERO chance of having a separate voice for each player character. Do you know how costly that would be?

How costly? do you have a link on what voice actors charge by hour? or by project? Or what cost it is to them? By Implementing the voices, into the characters? ...

Only the 360 will have an issue, and even then you just swap discs.

Great, thanks for reminding me.

ME2 suffered badly for being on the 360 for this very reason. Does the 360 allow mandatory installs yet?

That would be great, more so if they had race specific accents.

I don't expect it will happen though.

sounds too expensive. would have liked to go back to da:o style with some VA work but mostly silent. gave more options of things to say to people.
