Are we 100% sure we have a voiced protagonist? Not a silent one like in DA:O.

Pretty much, yes. The demo from PAX even showed a short conversation where the Inquisitor spoke. I mean, it COULD potentially change, but I highly doubt it.

Thank god.
Link for the demo?

I hope this hasn't been asked already, but I'm curious...
Would people rather have a unique VO for each inquisitor race/gender combo, or an equal number of VO Options that can be picked independent of the Race/Gender?

To those who suggested hiring two va's, one male one female, and having them do different accents for different races, I have to wonder if that wouldn't actually be more expensive. I mean, firstly you have to find two actors who can do convincing irish, american, and either french or english accents, consistently, and then you have to pay them to read the dialogue four times over. I can't imagine that would be cheap.

My theory is, they will hire four voice actors.
Humans and Elves would work with the same voice and I think they could make it work for Dwarves and Qunari.
When asked about it they said they were still discussing it. So I think they will come up with something other than one actor for each gender.

The issue with that is that they've confirmed at least one of the elven classes will be dalish, which would require a welsh or irish accent.
I'd be fine with humans and city elves having the same(presumably french) accent, though. And I'm even willing to let slide dwarves and qunari(they both have american accents, but not the same american accent.)

Hmm are they gonna keep the only irish and welsh accents for the dalish though?
