Yay my topic has been bumped. I just can't wait to they show the races next year. The dwarves is all I'm looking forward too. Since I was an commoner, I support Bhelen for my sister and my nephew well-being.

@Bonte

That's basically the only reason I support Behlen, and his efforts to improve the castless and social systems

I suppose that means Rica will hold titles to House Brosca, since a Warden DC can't?

I'm a bit confused, I've always been a noble dwarf, only seen the opening for the commoner. Does a commoner Dwarf get their family bumped up to noble once they slay the archdemon?

A dwarf at the end of DAO can become a paragon.I assume that's for commoners as well as nobles.
I'm playing a commoner dwarf now so I'll see at the end.

Spoilers

Once you return to Orzammar, your sister had a baby boy with Bhelen and they are brought into the noble house.

But if you side with harrowmont she and the baby are casteless again

Anyone replaying Origins? I just beat the game again for the 3rd time as a FDC, and so I quickly made a female and male noble dwarf LOL

Going classic SnS warrior princess deal

The dwarves are the most interesting part of the Dragon Age universe. I always feel like complete scum when I go to Orzammar on my human and elven characters. Showing up and demanding aid against the darkspawn from people who have to deal with their hordes every day is just a tiny bit arrogant and we should be lucky the dwarves are as welcoming as they are.

I would not mind an entire game based on the dwarves even if it's very unlikely to happen.

I love and kinda hate that you can only ask for a boon to aid the dwarves if your a dwarf

so a human, elf PC...simply doesn't ask? After going through the deep roads, the ortan thaig, meeting the freakin legion of the dead....

Knowing as a Grey Warden that the only thing keeping the darkspawn from overtaking the surface are the dwarves?

The dwarves signed the treaty with the wardens.I certainly don't feel like scum for asking them to honor it.

Conceivable you might see a book or comic about the dwarves, no way you would see a DA game just about them.<_<

It's in the dwarves best interest that the Blight end simply because darkspawn under the archdemon uses diffrent strategies or tactics in general, what they never utulize between the blights. The problem though is that even though the dwarves did promise their aid countless generations ago the surfuce races acts like the darkspawn are only a threat under a blight and even then they don't even notice or announce there's a blight until the surface raids starts.

Reading the history of the dwarves and the thaigs paint a pretty grim picture of the neglect of everyone above the surface. The Stagalata Negat codex clearly state that the dwarves at times known for years in advance that a Blight is coming but the surface remained ignorent and even ignored the warning signs until it reached the top. I imagine if it wasn't for the fact that it's in the dwarves best interest as well that the archdemon dies as soon as possible they would be tempted to tell the humans to have fun and sort it out on their own whenever they try to complain about darkspawn showing up in their lands.

As great as the Grey Wardens can be I wonder if anyone but their most senior wardens can compare to the experiance of a average commander in Orzammar. For the above reasons I as a human would feel a bit of shame to ask aid of those who have to live with a never ending darkspawn threat on a daily basis when for them it's never, ever going to stop.

Not quite. If the Dwarf Commoner Warden slays the Archdemon, the Assembly raises the Warden and his family to Warrior caste. Rica tells you this if you survive. In the epilogue, the Warden can be made a Paragon, which makes Rica and her mother both Noble Caste as part of your new House.

Dwarves always are secondary-race in all fantasy universes. One the reasons I love DA is because dwarves Play a greaet role!

I hope their kingdom could be save in DAI

I'm playing a FDN right now..... what happens in that epilogue?

I was going for an Behlen + Anvil deal this time. I've never kept the thing. I mean you just get reinstated to House Aeducan?

Has anyone ever picked Harrowmont? Ever? Douchey as Behlen is, he's always the most logical choice.

I think they made Harrowmont too depry IMO.... all of his endings suck

As Dwarf Noble I always start out doing Bhelen's path, but give Harrowmont the crown in the end as an M. Night-esque twist. :police:

I love to do that too! :D  With my F!Aeducan

But my M! Aeducan gave the crown to his brother, just to see what would happen. I like this end too. And the fact Bhelen take care of his nephew

Yeap, that's my main walkthrough.
