Am I the only one who finds the male default dwarf inquisitor totally hot??
Can't really speak for the male one, but the female dwarf model is actually making me seriously consider a female dwarf for my canon run...

Pretty much. DAI needs more dwarven politics, consequences in Bhelen - Harrowmont conflict style.Beerfish wrote...
The dwarf noble origin was my fav in the 1st game. I'd love for some more dwarven political intrigue.
The new female dwarf faces look very good to me.

More arenas fight and chance to see the casteless can join the army now. For all dwarf wardens, as an dwarf Inquistor we should be able to respect our dwarf warden as our paragon.Star fury wrote...

I wish for... One-Handed Hammers to be in this game. for my Shield'n'Hammer Dwarf!
I hammer is a tool. you are talking about a mace, and they are already in the game.
The hammer is probably the 3rd oldest weapon in the history of mankind. First, was the stick and the rock. Stick was good for hitting the guy with the rock before he could get close enough to brain you. Then, one day, a smart fella tied the rock to the stick and there was a paradigm change in weaponry, humting, and combat. All a mase is is a deformed hammer with flanges sticking out.

Casteless and Carta, never in any game I felt myself a second-class citizen like in a dwarf commoner origin and it was fun.
There were also a dialog, when mother doesn't recognize you:
I'm a king of orzammar and I know you're single.

lol I made her feel guilty about herself and made her see how she was treating us wrong. Then I when out and bought her the wine. I always played a dwarf commoner and only once as a noble. So I'm hoping my new dwarf pc can be casteless with just putting a tattoo on his face!!Star fury wrote...

I hope those aren't the only returning ones!
Clearly, we'll arrive in Val Royeaux on the last day of Orlais' Dwarf Appreciation Week (D'AW, for short). The streets will be packed with cheering crowds looking on to the annual Parade du Nain, which this year features every dwarf that has aided (or merely come into contact with) Thedas' recent heroes. It's a very prestigious affair.

BRAIDS! Did you SEE the braid that
lady dwarf had for the race model? It was GLORIOUS! I cannot wait to
create my blood thirsty, female dwarf! Super excited about this.
Did you notice that all of them except the human male had some form of braid? Hopefully we have a huge, varied selection of them. Beautiful braids everywhere. I had already been mentally designing a dwarf lady who happened to have a predilection for braids by the time I saw the pictures, so I was quite pleased.

I wonder what backgrounds, if any, we'll be able to choose from.
I don't think their will be backgrounds to choose from, only classes and races. So bard dwarf I'mb hoping if not legion of the dead.

after my MageWarden, MageHawke
time for dwarf awesomeness!
No one expects a semi andrastian female dwarf to lead the inquisition

I'm sure they fixed it ofcourse, but I'm hoping to see perfectly proportioned Dwarven arms! Especially on the women lol.

I can't wait! I also hope our dwarf wardens will be mentioned and our dwarf inquisitors can look up to them especially if they became paragons
I agree, same thing I mention early.

I'm just glad that the option for pc race has returned, as it greatly adds to replayability, and I like playing as the short+stocky dwarves. It's also nice when I'm playing as a non-human and npcs react to my player's race, in disbelief that the Warden-Commander is a dwarf/elf, for example, or assuming that my dwarf is a merchant, or my elf a servant, before realizing who they are.

classic SnS or THer
You're not playing a dwarf unless they have a massive axe to wield
