I'd LOVE Dagna to be part of my Inquisition.

You know, the dwarf who can't do magic, but knows more about magic than any real mage because they're all too busy learning violent spells and then claiming they're "innocent" and should be trusted? Yeah, that dwarf.

I want her to solve the Veil tear issue - and then all of Thedas can realize we need mages for exactly jack... and squat.

(and I'll be a mage - but the previous games didn't allow me to be at all knowledgeable about magic or anything close to 'wise' - so I look to the NPCs for that)

YES! WELCOME TO TEAM DAGNA! Population... well you and I for sure. Such a wonderful character to have in this situation. She probably wouldn't be a party member, but if we're really gonna have a giant castle I'm sure she can make herself very very useful in our library... And maybe, for all those people who want a female dwarf LI, she's not a little kid anymore...

Hey a body can dream!

Well with the Dragon Age Keep, now hopefully, i can just make female dwarfs, since i can't seen to play them. But more different Dwarfs playthroughs i can make without starting from DAO!!

I signed up for the beta test for the Keep. That sounds SO cool.

Just got into Act II of DA2. May swap games and get back to some good ol' dwarf

Got my Elven warrior and mage, now I just need my dwarf rogue :) my leading ladies

I would think so, look at the Warden Dwarf, all he did to save Ferelden  and he end up becoming a Paragon. Now the Dwarf inquistor is doing more than that, from what we have seen so far. But if i'm head of something like the inquisitors, would i really want to leave that to be paragon to my people, maybe. Or just new caste, the inquisitors caste for dwarfs would be cool. :D

I'm definitely on Team Dagna. I want Dagna as an agent and an entire army of Legionnaires at my command. I couldn't care less what anyone else contributes.

I'm already picturing my inquisitor dwarf to be a scholarly badass type. I hope we can make references to things like that

If Varric is a romance option, I will make a strong lady dwarf just for him. Whether he is or isn't though, I'm still looking forward to making an awesome dwarf PC. :)

I'm so excited, and it's still a year away :< I hope they have a good array of face tattoos for dwarves, and some awesome hairstyles that will suit their shorter/wider faces.

Yea that why i want a mohawk with different kinds of beards. Tattoos for dwarves could be like casteless or some of them can just be regular.

I opt for better hairstyles

Now I'm really annoyed dwarves can't be mages, I'm ripping through awakenings with my PC Mage and Oghren like it's nothing

I honestly hope dwarven magic resistance bumps up from Origins (maybe 15% - 20%).

Just 10% resistance seems like a very small consolation for losing the ability to use magic. =/

But the Warden Dwarf PC was born in orzammar, for all we know Inquisitor Dwarf PC might be born a top sider.

Well the casteless one is worse than a surface one and who knows we may be able to determine our past whereabouts :)

I think that there would be no one to make you a Paragon.  Isn't that voted on by the Assembly?  If you aren't from Orzammar, then that Assembly would have no reason to make you a Paragon because you have no ties to the Noble Houses there.  There is a socio-political context to the Paragons because it grants status and power to the house that the Paragon is initially from and creates a second house for that family in the Paragon's name.  I don't see how it would benefit the Orzammar Assembly to create a new noble house for a top sider, since you don't have a connection to the houses there (or maybe you do, we don't know the story yet).  The casteless commoner is still from Orzammar, so it makes sense for them to recognize them as a Paragon to establish a new noble house.  Kind of similar to promoting noble-hunters to the house if they birth a male child.

Also, I seem to remember that Kal Sharok has different Paragons than Orzammar.  If that's the case, then that really throws a wrench into it because it would depend on which city the Inquisitor's family is originally from.  I think we need to know more about the origin (story wise, not selectable, since that's been established as being replaced by race selection) of the character.
