Found that screwing around on youtube. I think it be really interesting for the player to be able to see companions interacting when they enter camp/castle (whatever form it may take). Much more interesting than how your normally hear those conversations, in my opinion.

At the very least there should be one like the one at the very end.

In terms of framing and composition, it might be too much. Also the banter is done in transition (while moving) or when the main character is not talking. Think the way most of the dialogue was done in Mass Effect 3, this is basically the same effect without the scenes..

That said, anything is possible.

I like the companions' reactions to each other. Adds a touch of realism. Perhaps it would be nice if it were not taken to the extreme it is taken here because, as LinksOcarina pointed out, the banters are usually while walking. But it might be fun to see a companion stop for a second when something particularly shocking is said (I'm thinking of Alistair receiving bedroom tips from Zevran.)

Fun, yes. Practical, not so much. I'll settle for being able to participate autonomously in a banter once in a while.

There were some conversations between companions which we stumble into in DA2, so it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Krul2k... yeah. Agreed. Some of the mods aren't so bad, but Alistair's pretty much everyone's hair in that one really threw me.

Oh god, that last part where the Warden's just calmly standing there while Anders flees from Nathaniel in the background. Could not stop laughing.

More on topic, I think that the companion conversations used more to fill space while running between points A and B, and I do love it that way. That said, it would be nice to have some camp ground cutscenes like the ones with Dog in DA:O and DA:II, but with all the companions, not just Dog.

While I have no delusions that taking all party banter and turning it into cutscene would take lots of resources (and money for that), I'd like party banter to occur much more often. In DA:O if I didn't go through banter trigger points on purpose, I wouldn't have heard half of these amusing dialogues. It was much better done in DA2, where party banter triggered not long after going to another area.
