GI still better with shotguns than AIU.

I won't do it again - it ruined the the illusion of challenge and the fun. Yea, it might be super efficient and all but I rather have a more inefficient setup but a playstyle that delivers some entertainment.

Repair Matrix does not make the AIU have great survivability. Playing her capably does. Surviving means not dying.
Yeah, yeah. Damage reduction, shield restoration and movement speed increase. I got that part.
Still doesn't make her "survivable" in my opinion, especially with the hipsters who run around speccing out of Repair Matrix.

Most of these hipsters actually do not run, they lie on the floor... bleeding out... Especially off host...

Yeah but they started lying on the floor before it was cool.

I find it hard to believe you can't see how being able to take more damage, and being able to escape in a pinch, and even when your bad ignoring death, doesn't help your survival.prostheticlimbs wrote...

I don't know what to tell you, she may be incredibly survivable to you but I die much less as a GI.

GI's wallhax is so good you don't even need Cyclonic Modulator (of any level) to survive, if you're playing a team game. You don't need it against Reapers on solo gold either.
+1
Adrenaline 3, wallhax, talon and 3 decoys are all the survivability you need.

AIU's skill set focuses much more on being closer to the enemies, and thus endangering yourself. GI's skill set focuses more on keeping enemies at a distance, thus limiting exposure.prostheticlimbs wrote...

HAHA that's quite funny. Adrenaline 3 + 6a on hunter mode is pretty ridiculous (in a good way), not for the faint hearted. I certainly can't handle it.

GI has high damage output.
This is news for some reason.
Actually, AIU deals more damage per shot than GI wit a. ........... let's say Claymore.
But still, GI has other advantages that makes it better.
And yes, this might be obvious for lot of people here, not for others though.
maybe point blank, but the GI accuracy bonus makes him markedly better at overall deeps.

Only when I soloed Cerberus on Glacier. Otherwise, it's Adrenaline Module III - dat lolspeed

Did anyone ever do the Drell vs. AIU foot race? I remember someone was going to test it, but not sure if anyone posted the results.

Sounds like the thing I might do tonight on Rio. Also, what difficulty? Cause game speeds up slightly with increased difficulty.
