30 fps on console is plenty hard enough, and it's not just because of inferior controls (which can still be used pretty effectively).

28 (28 platinum) this is because when i host nobody enters the whole fu_king game, and the game becomes solo... i need friends to add im gmt+2, origin id in signature.

Everyone on PC uses Mouse/Keyboard but we still have players of vastly different skill levels. I am sure it is the same case on console also.

Stable 30 FPS is also fine for pc, but some people play at even lower frame rates. PC's barely running the game at 30 FPS will usually drop to 10-15 FPS when more enemies are on the screen and that's what makes enemies really retarded.

Time to have a completely rational and civilized discussion of FPS.

I have even done dozens of 120 fps solos. Does that mean I am LegiterThanLegit.

 

FPS doesn't matter. You can make enemies dumb and still have good FPS. Link did it. 

He was playing on a crappy laptop with fps well below 60 fps, whether he made other changes on top of that or not is another story. But playing at 30 fps makes Platinum feel like Silver not even Gold.

 This is bull****.  Source:  I can play at 30 FPS at 1280x720 when recording or 62 FPS when at 800x600 and not recording (I get 45-60 while recording).  I have completed gold solos at both.

There are several main differences
1.  Enemies are somewhat more aggressive at 60 FPS.  There is no real qualitative change though.  I still get insta-shot by atlases/nemeses coming through corners/through walls at 30 FPS, while turrets are still easily dodgeable at point blank by running around them in a circle at 60 FPS.  Most of the time you can still avoid part of the damage on rapid fire units by strafing/dodging at 60 FPS.
2.  It's much easier to track moving enemies with all weapons at higher FPS, leading to much quicker headshots.  I can bring just a Talon vs. Gold Cerberus solo at 60 FPS, while I need a stagger weapon at 30. 
3.  Sync-kills are actually more easily avoided at 60 FPS, especially vs. phantoms.

Finally, I always find it funny when people who claim to play at 60 or 120 FPS act like they would get unacceptable framerate drops while recording given that I only get a drop of around 10 FPS from 60 while recording on my crappy laptop with a 5400 RPM harddrive.  Smells like excuses.

If you intentionally set it to 30 fps when your PC is capable of playing at 60 fps then that it is borderline cheating but if your PC sucks and you get 30 fps max then you are probably just a poor legit PC gamer.

The enemy will update your location every 0.66s at 30fps and 0.33s at 60fps. Whether it is noticeable to you depends on how much running around you do out of cover, and how fast your character is.

I only have two as well, I just don't enjoy soloing very much. I'd rather derp around 'n' stuff
I'm only bamboo-level though.

5, almost 6 because of pugs. I would rather solo than pug anymore.

Lost count...I think Im in my 20's now. Kind of wish I was also recording when the game first came out. Had quite a few solo's back then and N7 HQ doesnt reflect the past before it was introduced.

Solo's for me now are mostly for the challenge. Once you have done it once, you are good to go for most ME3 players which is fine and good. This is a coop game so if you have not done a solo then you should not feel as if you have missed out on anything. If you do a Platinum/Gold/Silver/Bronze solo then cool but if not then its still fine regardless as you are probably having fun with friends in this coop game and fun is definitely a good thing.
