if our Warden appears and is not the same person we once knew, I'm okay with that. People change; they evolve from their experiences.
And we no longer play as the Warden anymore, so his/her actions are out of our control.

I'm glad to know I'm not alone in this idea.

People do change but they don't tend to do 180 out of the blue and that's why some of the fans are concerned. And I hardly believe that deep down rooted beliefs of someone's Warden just vanish in thin air.

True, though, I also think that people can harden over time. Especially with so much conflict in their lives, from the start.

And what you created warden you have own warden i have own ,warden doesn't have own presonality he was only our puppet and we designed who he was and if they bring him back they destroy our character because that will not be our warden maybe just for small group of people who warden personality will be fit to this shown in third game if they bring warden they will create their own personality not that person we created .

Somehow I doubt that'd change a person in the same way your Warden's being a father did. They'd still have a lot of unnecessary work making a bajillion different Wardens for a cameo most people probably won't even appreciate.

Although, if the Warden does appear, it would be neat (and a bit odd) to be able to choose the Inquisitor's and Warden's responses (after learning what happened to the Warden of course if alive).

What I think would be best: Ultimate Sacrifice, Flemeth kills the Warden if he went with Morrigan in Witch Hunt, or s/he is doing whatever we can head canon and not appear in game.

If you want warden dead do US i prefer that they stay unseen and maybe even do something but not on the screen if they kill warden ritual would be pointless don't even mention that my warden destroyed flemeth 1 vs 1. About choosing his respones if that will be with da 2 dialogue style (and it probably will be) when you have only 3 personalities diplomatic (good) , jester (neutral) , and agressive (anti-hero) but for example our warden was ruthless mercenary but was calm and cold non of those three personalities fit.

Apparently they intend to have more dialogue options this time, and make it more ambiguous as to whether your words are of good or ill intent.

I'd be more okay with my Warden never showing up if I hadn't stepped through the Eluvian with Morrigan. The idea that after all that she left me behind again, for her own motives, would be kind of depressing. But I have to assume that BioWare will resolve the issue intelligently. Everything I've seen about DAI so far looks like it was crafted with a lot of care for their fans, and they all know how people feel about their Warden.
They could very easily put in some dialogue about the warden, resolving the issue but avoiding making a concrete history/personality for our DAO hero.
