Saw it on TB's Content patch, here
The plan is:
If you play an EA game from Origin and don't like it, you can get a refund if you want it within 24 hours after you first launch it. You order the refund, and within 10 days you get it IF you don't compromise the requirements.
Of course, there are numerous restrictions, which can be seen here. Most are what you'd expect. The big ones are:
-Some countries are exempt at the moment (Big ones are Germany and Japan)
-The game MUST be published by EA
-You cannot return DLC
-You cannot return part of a pack, you must return the pack as a whole
-EA can refute your request for other reasons.
This is EA taking potshots at a serious criticism of Steam, which is a good thing:happy:. The return process on Steam is admittingly a bit unforgiving, and some compitition to call that out could help. Although if they get too stiff about refuting requests, they may as well not have the system in place.
Frankly it's not enough to make me want to use Origin, but it does help its case.
