Personally I'm really happy. Think the female elf in particular looks beautiful. They no longer look like humans with pointed ears like in DAO or anorexic like in DA2. What are your thoughts?

ehhh i actually liked the da2 models. they actually looked like a different species rather than "pretty people with pointy ears". these ones are okay but they look like theyre going back into the lord of the rings style which i think is kinda boring. but hey at least the graphics look nice.

I liked the big irises in DA2 and yeah Merrill was cute. I just found them way too skinny.

When I played an elf in Origins my character had a haircut that completely covered her ears and made it look like she could easily pass for a petite human. Just making the ears more prominent fixes that though, I'm glad they got rid of the alien Navi face thing.

I agree. DA2 elves are most ugly things ever put in videogame. Even the darkspawn are better looking than DA2 elves. I'd rather f*ck a darkspawn than a DA2 elf.

The elves are closely related to humans so it wouldn't make sense for them to be completely different. I think their new look is a good balance. 

With that being said, I LOVE their new look so far.

I'd say a vast improvement on both prior games. The male's facial expression creeps me out a bit, though. It's a combination of the light irises and the open mouth. He looks like he's looking for an open window and a bare neck.

I'm torn between human male and elf male Quizzy.
The elves look much better. I'm gonna edit my elf Quizzy till he's much more handsome.

What is their role in this game. They hardly look like a nomadic race of the forest or servants in a city. They almost look like nobles.

They look good I guess, but after the elves in DA2 I guess anything would look good.

Can't wait to play one in DA:I. ( Which would have NEVER been the case with DA2' models, donkey ears and ugly navi faces ) The female elf looks indeed beautiful.
