If there's an Arlathvhen taking place, there may be many clans in attendance. Given the recent interview mentioning how helping Orlais would sour relations with the Dalish (possibly as a hypothetical or actual example of the narrative), perhaps the reverse is possible and the Inquisitor may be able to help the Dalish.

well if he's elven may i suggest the traditional head mounted on a pike approach?

Personally I'm really happy. Think the female elf in particular looks beautiful. They no longer look like humans with pointed ears like in DAO or anorexic like in DA2. What are your thoughts?

Man... I've been staring at a picture of the female elf, imagining my own Inquisitor... I LOVE IT!!!!!

I can't really judge since I've seen them in game. Just seeing Fenris and Merrill would make me think DA2 elves are pretty.

I think the DAI elves are mighty fine in appearance, although I wish they had larger eyes; I think that would have the effect of distinguishing them a bit more from humans, while not sacrificing conventional beauty, y'know?

^^ I also wish they had larger eyes. If I had a dollar for how many times it's mentioned how big, beautiful and "glittery" elven eyes are in The Masked Empire, I'd have like $50. At one point I even thought about just keeping track of how many times elven eyes were mentioned (especially Briala's). In the Stolen Throne, elven eyes were brought up quite a bit as well. And their ability to see more things in the dark than humans. I didn't get through The Calling, but I bet Maric had something to say about Elven eyes yet again. >_> DA2 did big, pretty eyes very well, imo. I wish they would keep them. :c

I very much prefer the DA2 elves since they actually look different from humans rather than just being humans with pointy ears... They should have at least kept the facial structures similar to the DA2 elves, the way their foreheads lined up with the bridge of their noses really gave them a unique elvish look.

 

And also, aren't elves supposed to look young and youthful in the DA universe? because from some of the screenshots and models they've released it doesn't look like they've kept to that standard.

 

on a side note, after reading some of the posts i find myself questioning some of you people's definition of beauty.. that male elf does not look handsome, more like an estranged serial killer with a cockney accent and the female is alright, just not elvish enough for my tastes... i feel like she belongs in skyrim or something, some of her features are somewhat nordic.

The elves looked terrible in DA2, I am happy that they look different now.

 

I still miss the Qunari from DA:O. I don't dig the redesign with horns and stuff.

I can't tell the difference. All dirty knife ears look the same to me.
