Besides, if they need to look weird to be interesting then they're doing it wrong. I thought the culture and history of the elves in DA:O was really interesting and I liked that the "beautiful, mysterious, aloof, and almighty elves" trope was turned on its head. In DA2 we weren't shown any of that culture or mistreatment and instead we got weird annorexic things with no culture that looked like the artist watched Avatar a few too many times.

Eh,in case you have'nt noticed elves have looked like "humans with pointy ears" ever since their conception.Anyway I like their new look and I look forward to playing as elven mage on my playthrough.

I'm not one to care about what fantasy creatures look like, but I'm glad others seem to like them.

I miss the old nose and wider eyes though.

Dislike.

I don't think they're bad (or worse than the DA2 design), but I don't like that they're changed yet again, and I really don't like those as the faces for the PC (especially if we don't have face-scanned defaults this time).

The female is slightly better than the male, but that's largely because she looks much more human (almost to the point where she may as well be). The male just looks odd, with too much mouth, weird bone structure, and alien eyes.

Love them. They're classy and actually fit how I envision an elf (regal, proud, cunning). Thank God they changed them from DA2 (ew to the hybrid goblins/Navi).

I might actually make an elf in this now.

Well I hope it's not like DA2 where Merrill had different features than the other elves and Varric had different features than the other dwarves.  Because if so we don't know what they'll look like.

Yeah these are presets for the Inquisitor shown by Bioware.

Big improvement. Male elf has a wonky expression on his face so I'd like to see him in action, but I'm confident the end product will look nice.

I think they're wonderful, the best of both worlds The man sort of reminds me of an Altmer (though not as bizarre and alien as the Skyrim mer are, of course). Their face shape is definitely not human, yet they are "human-like" and beautiful. Thumbs up from this elf-lover

I like the elves. I've always played as an Elf, and am going to again in DAI.
But that human female... looks so. Ridiculously. Badass. Hope we can get an elf to look similar, because I'm lovin' those chiseled features.
