And I mean reliable survivability, not like "best at avoiding bleeding out." I mean as in not getting felled at all, by enemy fire/synchkills/etc., note: does not include the TGI/Havok, for obvious lolpack reasons. Show them off and explain them here!


Probably my best one is a somewhat unorthodox BatSol build to take to plat.: http://kalence.drupa.....W53363!E665G9

6 in ballistic blades, 5 in blade armor (4 and 5 toward durability), 5 in inferno grenades, 4 in passive, 6 in fitness (all towards durability). He's not the mighty spamtastic grenadier some are familiar with and he's not quite the deadliest gunslinger but his ability to absorb damage is very high. The reason I take 5 in the blade armor and not pass on it is for that extra 30 pct damage resist and faster shields which, for objectives, makes a world of difference. In the last 3 games I've used him in, he got through completely unscathed in the first two, and got to wave 10 in the third (Collector/London object disabling, and my three teammates wiped in the dead center of the map trying to take one). DPS-wise it's pretty normal for a Graal-wielding BatSol, though somewhat slower. Easily topped boards first game, edged out slightly by a Typhoon X T-Soldier on Dagger, and a Venom X AIU on aforementioned London, but again, had an easy time avoiding death.

I don't know if he's a solo worthy build (solo'ing gold is boring enough for me, so I don't know if I care to find out) but the couple of waves I've had to go alone, I encountered no difficulties.

Kroguard. If you're smart about avoiding sync kills... there are few better.

Spec for health regen, dodge a lot, and that's about all there is to it. If you get hurt, step out of fire for a second to regenerate if needed.

Drell infiltrator.  With that run speed, plus recon mine for tons of stuns, he certainly can prevent taking to much damage.  Plus, with the crusader () he can dish out a lot of damage to drop enemies before they become a real threat.

Well my Batarian Sentinel is great with a survivability build. With the shield regen evos in Blade Armor and fitness, Power Cells III and Stronghold Package V shield restoration is almost instantaneous. Honorable mentions to the Justicar with a defensive bubble and the Geth Engineer with a defensive turret. Power Cells and Stronghold Packages for them as well for insane shield regen.

My go to is my human Sent, I kick ass with her and equip her with just a pistol, for pistol whippin, which I'm fond of lately.
Anway, I do my best ot keep my ass in cover on plat with this lady and with her biotics recharging so fast.. -Bliss- She even helped me survive through an only Avengers, biotic squad on gold.

Though I finally unlocked the Asari Adept & sporting her powers of Stasis, Wrap & Throw, I might have a new favourite.

i used the same build but when the 5th time i was killed during a flowless "after BC" heavy melee attack i gave up. and i'm not  even talking about sync kill. i'm not sure if it's only me or it's working as intended.

and first i thought he would be a nearly invincible kit...
