The arkham game have done capes pretty well, obviously an entirely different engine, but it's been done to success before

What I really want out of Inquisition is Sith style hoods. Always thought hoods look really awesome and yet very few games, RPGs especially, do them/do them well. Bonus points if they have extra headgear on it besides just the hood.

I don't like armors to be too bulky. This one is slender yet protective and I like how there is cloth beneath it and it comes out under the waist.

sorry my character is not planing on flying and capes are good to keep armored soldiers warm and dry

nothing more annoying than cold draft seeping through armor or water sloshing around

CAPES are actually kinda necessary

they ALSO hide the "weakness" of ones armor especially in the back area where one might be vulnerable to a dishonorable blow

so you see if i was wearing armor and I was walking in the cold and the snow with monsters clawing at me I would be a RETARDED NOT to ware a cape

counter arguments will be demolished and there owners ridiculed

From what the player wears, not so much. From what the bosses wear, absolutely. Ornstein and Artorias would make glorious armors for a templar or reaver. Priscilla's gown or Gwyndolin's robe might be good for a mage? They're good options to take inspiration from, though some of the PC's armors were laughable.

I liked the armors for sorcerers in the game. at least they had pants...
