Point is, 'real-feeling' armour doesn't have to look plain, although I also favour being able to choose whether one wears good but 'simple' armour or a good but fancy-looking set. It's two different ways of dressing like a badass.
Anyway, looks as if we are going to get 'understated end of the spectrum' generic fantasy armour .
Which is okay for DA I guess.
I agree with this wholeheartedly. It's a real shame that things like these seem to clash with Bioware's preferred visual aesthetics.
I mean, come on! How is this not beautifull?


Sure, it might be a bit impracticall, but fantasy employs such elements left and right anyway. Why fighting in underwear would apparently be fine, but fighting in this would not?
