Usually, I'm all for Realism and Stuff. But there is one Armor Set from (*gasp*) World of Warcraft, that I absolutely adore. Doesn't even need the glowy Parts.

i loved the ebony armour in skyrim, i had this armor alot longer than i should have, and with the constant enchanting and improvements i made through blacksmithing i made this armor a hell of alot better than it should have been normally
This made me laugh,

and an interesting article on 'boob plate'.

I have no problem with 'boob plate,' personally. The wearer is still heavily armored and fairly well protected, even if the shape isn't as efficient as armor designed to deflect impacts away to the side. Also there were plenty of stylistic flourishes on armor throughout history, some of which caused similar issues.
I would love some kind of cloak for rogues but considering Laidlaw already confirmed no capes that's basically killing half the dream right there.
There is a serious shortage of cloaks and capes in RPGs like this. ![]()

I would like some sort of dragon armor that has a helmet that resembles a dragon head like that lion armor hrlm you se in the trailer that would look cool. And armor like the daedra armor of skyrim that also looked dragon like.
The first armour from the cover of the first Dungeons & Dragons boxed set.

Also i would like revenant armor set to wear and use i see and fight them but cant gett here cool armor i like there helmet best.
I want to look like Doctor Doom.
These are examples of what I don't consider ok. That "armour" doesn't protect anything. The mage outfit isn't much less protective than regular mages robes against swords/arrows but it looks way to stripperific for me to take the person wearing it any more seriously than I can take a clown seriously (edit: though I'd be amazed that the person doesn't "pop" out of the outfit so to speak - a new school of magic?).
The worst offence of skimpy clothing/armour is how out of place it looks - especially compared to other armour in the game. If everyone, men included, wore skimpy armour and outfits, it would still be silly but at least it wouldn't feel it was put there just because one group of consumer's find that "hot". However, if male armour is designed seriously but the female armour isn't it becomes so much worse because it draws attention to it. Look at the Kingdom under Fire II picture on page 6 of this thread. The men get normal-looking, covering armour, the elven women... not so much. Considering the atmosphere in DA:I, with the Veil tearing and all, armour that is too skimpy would look even more strange and out of place.
And what about people who don't like realistic. I want shoot dragon with fireball and look sexy.

And why all armour in game must be like you want tin can why we can't have different style armour.

Minerva will be one of my Inquisitors, so yes.
Do you know who that is?

She is Princess Minerva of Macedon/Medon in the Fire Emblem franchise.
For me:
Chainmail Bikini (I am a heterosexual male and I like my eye candy,I also understand if it isn't present)
'Classical' English archer wear, Dragon's Dogma Ranger preview for what I have in mind.
Straight-up ninja clothing, no fancy adornments or decorations, just the classic costume.
A fantasy variant of modern flak jacket/elbow and knee pad military getup
my biggest niggle when it comes to heavy armour is the shoulder areas… if you can't lift your arms up fully without your armour trying to be intimate with the inside of your skull... then they are too big. DA:O was the worst offender for this and it really made some cut scenes cringe worthy. Clipping is a big fat sin in my world.
Lighter armours I'm fine with getting occasionally skimpy-ish, some characters it suits and lends to the story. Mages aren't suppose to get hit anyway and a layer of fabric isn't anymore protection really then bare flesh, so a bit of leg or boob is fine, (bikini is not). Rogues need a bit more covering, but it can still be skin tight if it must. It must be optional and if used on an NPC then story based, but I am fine with it. Skimpy heavy armour is a no no.
I always like the LotR Elven armour, especially the ones Elrond and Haldir wear

I belive you, I'm just tired of everyone saying that fantasy games shouldn't have skimpy armor because it's not practical or unrealistic. But being a frontline warrior in heavy plate armor is not the only way to play this or any other fantasy game. You can also be a stealthy rouge, or an archer. They don't need overprotective armor, their trait is not getting hit at all or move fast, and then they could easily wear attire like these:

You do realize how completely impractical those armors are, even if you aren't a front line fighter, right? Rogues and mages certainly don't need "overprotective" armor or heavy platemail, but what they do need is armor that actually protects them. Just because you have "speed" and don't "plan on" being hit, does not mean that you will not. Those "armors" you posted have so many uncovered spots that it is laughable and the actual "armor" parts appear to be little more than some cloth, light leather, and the occasional armored bits. Those outfits barely even meet the criteria of being actual armor, as they would provide no protection whatsoever. The chest is wide open, the arms are exposed, the knees are exposed, the thighs are exposed, the abdomen is exposed, anybody hit with a weapon while wearing those would be dead. Your "speed" won't help you when you've lost a limb or have a sword through your stomach. This thread has shown that there are many options for less heavy, "rogue-like" armors, that still actually look like armor and would provide protection.
Pikachu samurai armour:

Because it's just freakin' awesome. It looks as if DA:I is going to have some pretty stupid-looking costumes anyway, so this will fit right in. What about it as an Orlesian Ball DLC costume? Make it so, BioWare!
I wouldn't mind something a bit more ninja-esque. I'd love it if I could make my more ruthless female rogue (assassin) look a bit more like this:

I like my armour practical, but pretty to look at. I guess I'm slightly like Shale in that aspect. "Ooh, shiny!"

Exactly. Isn't this why full body chain-mail was created? Light and doesn't make too much noise, but protects the body from both knives and arrows.
