Yes, but its still better than certain death from hypothermia though. Or getting fried in a desert till your skin peels off. People have been running around in very cold weather and in very hot weather in full plate armor, and while it was very awful to wear armor that trapped heat and cold they fought battles in those weather conditions. Though very few people run around on mountain tops or desert while wearing nothing but a skimpy cocktail dress. Or not for very long.
I'm done with the realism angle because it's not the overall point anyway and tired of being pulled back into that bs discussion. It's a fricken game for people's enjoyment. It's not meant to reflect reality, most of our movies don't reflect reality, we rarely reflect true reality, because reality fricken sucks, it's terrible, it's rotten, it's ugly and it's horrifying. Games are one of the few places we can escape and be someone else. I offer compromise, I ask for inclusion, I even make it only through making custom armors, but still it's "must be our vision, period."
Well screw you all then, I'm going to go sulk now because I'm tired of banging my head into the keyboard and am starting to get actually upset. You have no idea how important my avatar is to me, and probably many others, who have a different vision than you, that you all just don't give two shits about. For me it's about a lot more than just this ridiculous realism argument. I like the game, I like the world, I like the kind of game it is, the characters, the roleplaying, the romances, ect, playing another game is not an option. But I should be unhappy with my avatar and their clothes because some people demand complete realism and insist that all us women must be fricken nuns or we're somehow destroying and degrading ourselves.
I'm so frustrated right now.
