Yup, My Inquisitor and Cole will be floppy hat friends
What happens if you equip an already floppy hat onto him?

Well, all I know is that if you equip a helmet on Cole he will wear his floppy hat underneath it
The bear armor in the witcher looks pretty badass.
What would be really cool is if there was a different kind of armour for different kinds of animals all with matching styles and bonuses to their respective animal and each could be made by crafting parts gained from hunting each respective animal. For example bear armour for damage resistance bonuses, wolf armour for speed or stealth bonuses, lion armour for damage bonuses, eagle armour for ranged attacks bonuses, etc, etc.
I'm surprised this thread has lasted this long.

Interesting choice of attire...
Traditional Orlais.

But nah, as odd as it'd be in the setting, perhaps, I'd like to see some desert-inspired armours, like that of the Saracens or the Sassanids. Medieval to Renaissance Europe is cool, but most fantasy games follow that setting, so it'd be nice to get something with a little flair.
For my rogue.

Maybe in future games? I think it is stated that people in Thedas don't know what's beyond the Anderfels, but that the climate there is very arid and inhospitable. Actually, we don't know anything about the world except from Thedas, except that the Qunari probably came from another continent further north. And since north in this instance means warmer climate... voila! Desert gear.

Yeah, I hope so! As much as I like people donked up in an impressive set of practical full plate/leather, I would appreciate something different. A China theme à la Song dynasty-style would be fun to look at as well, for example, and might even be good inspiration for some mage robes that don't look kind of lame for once.
I'm looking forward to seeing all of the Orlesian armours, though, since everything there is apparently flamboyant as hell. I try not to look up too much stuff before playing games to keep the fresh experience, so idk what to expect.
For the Avvar:

I would pee my pants.
But I would settle for buttloads of Lagertha Lothbrok

blood dragon armour, grey wrden armour and sentinel armour.
That last coat thing at the bottom... I was picturing my inquisitor wearing something like that! Except the breastplate, gloves, pants, and boots were steel, but the coat would go over it. The coat would be red, like the shade of the "hide" button on the forums.I hope to see armors in the same style as some of the DLC, like :
I generally love leather with a bit of metal at the right places.
I would've been fine with the First Enchanter style of mage robe (solid color cloth + shiny leather on the shoulders), if it were red and black. I mean, the male version of it. Oddly, the female version of it just looks like a green version of the apprentice robe. All I have to add is no more dresses for my mage. Mage hawkes champion armor was the epitome of awesome mage armor for me. The reaper robes in origins were... Terrible. Just terrible.
I was originally concerned about not having gloves or boot slots, but i was mistaken, as of todays twitch i am very relieved to know that you do have them but they work as a part of the armor upgrade system, when you find or build upgrades that are in the form in gloves or boots you can add them to the armor as a upgrade, awesome idea i think, but i'll have to play the game to know for sure.. im am psyched.

This would be awesome. Especially since Mass Effect has the Blood Dragon Armor. ![]()
Do you guys think they will recycle any of the dlc armor packs from DA2 for the crafting system? That would be something.

Well there are 150 types of armor, so it is certainly possible.
Naturally I kind of want some "dark lord" armour to go along with the necromancer specialisation.
