It's funny, I didn't care for him at first, and when I heard he was designed specificly as a love interest for the ladies I kinda thought, "pfft!"

Then a few trailers later..and having him on my desktop wallpaper for a few weeks...
definitely starting to understand the appeal. I think it's mostly the voice..the jacket is nice also. =3

Although as long as there is Garrus, there will be no other love in my Shep's life...

*Sigh* yeah I'm also hoping for a Garrus romance. Thane is cool and all but Garrus was my first ME crush . I do find it a bit odd that Bioware decided to create a species to appeal to females when Garrus already has such a huge fanbase. Maybe Thane is the more human-looking intermediate option between Jacob (a human) and Garrus (very alien-looking).

Garrus is a bit lacking in the butt department, though.
