A thought just occured to me... since DA:O is originally a PC game, and was ported to the consoles by Edge of Reality, why haven't they been brought up?

well thanks for the few comments on my question yesterday, tried deleting cache did not work on my system, playing my level 10 rogue and when she got to level 11 talked to allister with templar specialization and morrigan with shapeshifter and only unlocked those two. But had a after thought. Me deleting cache like that and is supposed to delete the update ? then did I just also delete game updates for other games ? hope thats not much of a big deal. blindly following <shrug> Afraid to check although if deleting like that didn't fix probably didn't do much of anything alse to my system crossing fingers.

actually found it pretty interesting was like playing the game for the first time just need to remeber where to unlock all the others hehe.

This is an exercise in futility.  I don't know anymore what I had hoped to accomplish (outside of thanking Victor for the update) but it is clear there are several individuals posting in this thread who's seem to at least in part simply want to stoke arguments.

My suggestion to you is what I'm doing myself after this post, Ferale (and others trying to keep discussions reasonable) - leave this thread to those who just want to complain and argue.  As long as they break no forum rules, it is their right to do so.  We don't have to engage them and we don't have to provide them with a foil.

Left to simply agree with each other, the thread will simmer down on its own.

Hope all you 360 gamers get your fixed patch soon, and that those who lost stuff due to the title update are able to somehow retrieve your data!

I suggest holding it back since it might get the topic closed (or worse, get people on both sides banned). I do have a 360 as well before people flame me for PC gamer elitism or something.

What platform you own has nothing to do with "elistism", much like having a black friend doesn't mean you aren't a racist.

Edit: That probably came off harsher than I meant it. All I wanted to say is if you don't want to come off as an elitist, then don't present yourself as one. If you feel the need to proclaim that you aren't an elitist, maybe you should go back and reevaluate your wording or stance. It's like the person who puntuates their insults with "no offense".

Well i hope it would happen so these forums get some rest for a few days so other customers can follow a thread without having to weed through the insults/condensending talks of the same members.

If they did that Merin they'd have to stop acting holier than thou, tossing insults and name calling. Prolly wouldn't be quite as much fun. I will say one thing though. I certainly won't be buying bioware points until a product is actually available from now on thats for sure.

Oh dear lord what is wrong with people that post on here? I asked a simple question relating to the PC version and put in a little disclaimer for the user that made a post before me accusing people of asking about the PC version of some form of elitism.
I'm a console gamer first if you must know but whatever, I was and am, still only interested in the version I own.
I'm not going to comment about your racism comparison because I'm guessing you are some stupid little white kid that does not have a clue about racism but wants to sounds remotely intelligent with a weird analogy.
But yeah gaming+racism=win. Go you

Thing is, this type of comment really doesn't help. You're essentially doing the same thing, except targetting both sides of the argument.

I understand that there really is not much else to do at this point and time, but I just wanted to point it out for when mods eventually return.


EDIT: Namecalling isn't the issue here. Both sides are equally insulting, both outright and through implication. Seriously, it's going in circles now and is just going to get people moderated.

It wasn't meant to be insulting, just an observation. I realize it sounded a bit harsh and edited it, you can go back and read that if you'd like.

You shouldn't have to put disclaimers, and, frankly, they come off as insincere and insecure. Due to your response, I'd definitely lean towards the latter.

First off, Thanks for the info. All this brings a few questions to mind.



I have the content downloaded, but have not played it due to leveling up my Mass Effect character for Mass Effect 2. Should I delete the DLC or will the new update resolve the issues ?



I did load the game up with the DLC just to look at the map to see where it was located, but did not save any games, are my save's good or bad ? I hope no saves means all is good.



On the DLC screen at the start of DA it shows that RtO is free, I know I paid 400 MS points for it. I'm confused. I'm not complaining about 400 points just confused.

I am pretty sure that when he talks about "systems" he means in-game mechanics and systems, not the xbox 360.
