Since you aparently either have selective memory, or just cherry pick  post to fuel your own "agenda" figured you'd like a reminder. Considering how  condescending  your posts tend to come off in the first place. Hense the holier than thou comment. Posted Image

Selective memory is one of the premier tools of forum warriors. And as any forum warrior, them and  those on their side of the argument are the "good guys", while the others are the "bad guys" that call names, post ad personam, eat babies and burn books.

Course the whole mentality that developers shouldn't be held accountable for missed release dates, misleading information and basic customer support is pretty humorous to begin with. Since ya know, we're just whiny self entitled trolls who have the nerve to ask for basic support on a product we paid for. Posted Image

Accountable... for missed release dates. Wow.

They are being held accountable. They are holding themselves accountable. They have embarassed themselves with this cafuffle and they know it. The way they hold themselves accountable far exceeds the amount of accountability you're asking for.

But honestly, accountable for a missed release date? That is such a trivial issue. Is the delay of RtO preventing you from attending important appointments? Is it directly impacting your everyday life in a negative way? Chances are, no it's not.

You've paid for RtO, you'll get RtO. It won't be on time, but you will get it. Better late, than never.

If you weren't getting it at ALL, then I'd be behind you all the way.

anything official been released (other than the info on page 1) I'm one of the jerks with my specs locked. I would really like to play but I don't want to spend time on a character unless I'm sure the patch they are working on will fix a character I used while things were broken.

If you did not know you can click on the Blue Bioware tag under a post to just display the posts made by them.

For the specs there is this thread in the 360 tech support forum that might help you out http://social.biowar...67/index/604827

Best of luck.

Well, I am sad to say RTO is riding the brink very closely now.  Unless it releases within the next few days, it is likely to be shelved by a lot of people.  It has been stated before by myself and countless others that DAO is getting a timeout as soon as ME2 arrives.  That time is almost upon us now, and I'm a little sad that this hasn't been resolved by now.

My intent is not to discredit Bioware or imply that they have been slacking off.  I'm not mad, just disappointed.  This is the inevitable result of the bar they continue to raise with every new release they make.  @Bioware (specifically, the Dragon Age team): Please keep up the good work.  I know you will deliver eventually.  I promise I'll return to DAO after I play the crap out of ME2, which will likely coincide with the release of Awakening.

I don't care about RTO anymore I just want to be able to play my game and be able to give my characters and party members their specilization points and skills This sucks I can't even play the game the way it was meant to be played because their update destroyed the game!

I must co-sign this statement.

I probably won't even buy RTO because I doubt that it will be out before ME2- which is going to take all of my disposable gaming income for the moment (I have 4 kids in my home- they're expensive).  I just want the patch to fix that neat little gift that they game me that screwed up my game.  It has sat on my shelf since that day because I don't want to deal with the aggravation.

At this rate Awakening will hit the shelves in March of 2015. What good will it do us then what with our flying cars and hoverboards to keep us entertained.

Ditto...at this point I have zero interest in RTO.  I just want the game working again.

BTW I lost track...when does the 5 day waiting period on more information expire?

Hah!

They are just going to complain about the content itself when it comes out.  They will complain that it's too short or too easy.  Basically, looking for things to complain about is what gets them through their day. <_<

I'm not mad at you guys. You gave me the greatest RPG I have played in about ten years. I also understand that despite your best efforts Murphey can show his face.

Funny that you feel in any position to criticize that, given that you're here daily  (more hourly) to whine about the ones that complain.

Is it imprinted in your DNA?

All you people complaining about the update,

If you actually wanted to fix your problem instead of just whine about it, then you would have gone to the technical support section, where there are a couple threads dedicated to quick fixes to the update. seriously, nobody cares that you won't buy the RtO, figure it out.

Despite what you may believe not everyone here owns an XBox and downloaded RTO. Some of us are actually waiting for it to be released.

I did not download RtO. I am still patiently waiting for it to be released. Obviously bioware knows they've made a mistake with release date mess-ups, and the botched 360 release. And clearly they are working to fix the update problems and get RtO out to the public ASAP. I am more than happy to wait for them to fix DLC problems in order to make the experience better. DAO is a very solid fantasy RPG (props to bioware) and some people are complaining about the most ridiculous crap. All the negativity surrounding RtO isn't going to speed up the release. I personally congratulate bioware for a job well done on DAO and am very excited for RtO and the awakening.

I understand BW doesn't want to drop the ball on this again. You have to understand that alot of us moved to this because we haven't recieved any word from BW on the previous for 7 days and that the info posted by BW on this doesn't really answer many of the questions regarding the PC/PS3 version. The main question being raised is why does a Title Update only for the 360 affect the other 2 platforms. On a separate issue how does asking these question make me a "Troll"? How do these question affect your life to the point that I become a troll, whiner, complainer etc.

I agree. But I believe bioware hasn't released a statement either because they are close to, yet another,  RtO release or they don't want to incite more gamer backlash. I can undertand PC/PS3 frustration, but do you honestly think bioware isn't working on this. Look at this from a larger perspective, bioware has alot on their plate right now. Update concerns for PS3/PC have been very duly noted/ addressed. I think they are taking a more conservative approach to dates now that the RtO/update fiasco has occured. I guess my point is that peoples concerns are not going unheard. Also i did nt at any time call or intend to call you a troll. the complaints comment was a generalization.

No new developments on the fix? Do i have to wait two months for Awakening for the fix? Man thats two months away, well I guess Im gonna have to finish off The Force Unleashed, Enchanted Arms and Blue Dragon. Hah, if i finish these puppies and BW hasnt released any fix, then Im gonna have to keep on trucking on the old games that i have. I'll keep on waiting, and let DAO sit there for a while.
