People whining about other people whining about something, with as much gusto as the original whiners themselves. And so, everybody's a whiner, the only difference is what they're whining about.

Well, I am sad to say RTO is riding the brink very closely now. Unless it releases within the next few days, it is likely to be shelved by a lot of people. It has been stated before by myself and countless others that DAO is getting a timeout as soon as ME2 arrives. That time is almost upon us now, and I'm a little sad that this hasn't been resolved by now.
My intent is not to discredit Bioware or imply that they have been slacking off. I'm not mad, just disappointed. This is the inevitable result of the bar they continue to raise with every new release they make. @Bioware (specifically, the Dragon Age team): Please keep up the good work. I know you will deliver eventually. I promise I'll return to DAO after I play the crap out of ME2, which will likely coincide with the release of Awakening.
Don't worry me2 will get delayed and everything will click nicely into place

Bawbag are you Scottish? Please stop making me embarrassed to be Scottish and give it a rest.
Anyway Bioware people, I tried really hard to read some pages of this thread but I couldn't read through all that as it was mostly just you're an idiot, no your an idiot etc etc so apologies in advance if this has been answered in some form;
But why is the PC version delayed if it's a problem with the console achievements etc? Contractual or is the PC version bugged too? Will one version not be released until all 3 are ready?
Thanks
I do have a 360 as well before people flame me for PC gamer elitism or something.
What platform you own has nothing to do with "elistism", much like having a black friend doesn't mean you aren't a racist.
Oh dear lord what is wrong with people that post on here? I asked a simple question relating to the PC version and put in a little disclaimer for the user that made a post before me accusing people of asking about the PC version of some form of elitism.
I'm a console gamer first if you must know but whatever, I was and am, still only interested in the version I own.
I'm not going to comment about your racism comparison because I'm guessing you are some stupid little white kid that does not have a clue about racism but wants to sounds remotely intelligent with a weird analogy.
But yeah gaming+racism=win. Go you
*edit - as for your edit, I could care less how I come off to the majority of people that use this forum I was just trying to stop any ridiculous replies like the ones before - and after it would seem - my comment because I don't care.
For the last time, I ONLY CARE ABOUT THE VERSION I OWN, I'm not altruistic.
And there is the problem. I only care about the version I own and the rest who own different versions can suck it. Well guess who is going to end up paying the price for that? It ain't you or 360 owners or PS3 owners. It is BW who is going to have to deal with offending the other groups because of your selfishness. They are the ones who risk losing customers. It is only thier livelyhoods at stake and all. No big deal as long as you get your 1 hour DLC pack right? Oh but I forgot you are entitled to it now because it might be ready now. How could I forget that little fact?
How did you cope with the full game being delayed for the other platforms to play catch up?

All you people complaining about the update,
If you actually wanted to fix your problem instead of just whine about it, then you would have gone to the technical support section, where there are a couple threads dedicated to quick fixes to the update. seriously, nobody cares that you won't buy the RtO, figure it out.
If you actually read those threads you would know that deleting the cache has not worked for everyone. Some have even suggested that it's very dangerous to do so. And honestly, why should we, the consumer, have to put forth any effort to fix anything? We didn't screw up. So, some of us are simply waiting for the official patch from BioWare.
Bioware does care if people buy their DLC. If they didn't, they'd just shelve it. Any good company would care if their consumers started to lose interest in a product that's been pushed back. Hence, the statements about them working around the clock to get this fixed.
Perhaps, you should change the phrase "nobody cares" in your statement to "I don't care." I think that would be a tad more accurate.
Have a good one!

All my specializations are unlocked and I can play the RTO DLC without any problems...
They said its going through M$ certification for the 360 version, that usually takes awhile. M$ is slow on certifying patches and DLC...I'd imagine the PS3/PC version aren't far behind, if at all.

In terms of what is actually going on in this topic on both sides, the actual word that should be used is hypocrisy, since both sides are not practicing what they preach (in terms of insult-hurling and the like).
Sorry, it's just that I've seen that term used so much in the wrong way recently that I had to say something about it.

Actually I did go to the technical support section. I read through a great many pages of texts and I followed the directions on clearing my cache. I even waited the half hour before loading it up again; this supposed fix did not work for me. So before I ever posted here to "whine" as you so kindly state (though I know I was not the sole target of your sputem), I did try to fix my problem.
And speaking for myself I did not say I would not buy RTO just that I don't care anymore, I am terrified I will never be able to play the game again. II want to play the game the way it was before they broke it. I miss the story, the choices, the banter, the pretend. The game is so much fun, I have a library full of games but I love this game it is engaging and still fun even on the umpteenth playthrough and I am going on 4 days without it and I miss it and I will whine if I want to. But I did attempt to solve my problem first.
For my part As long as they fix the game I will buy everything that comes out for it. I love DA:O But I can't even play it anymore.:crying:The expansion, the update, DLC, it is all irrelevant if the game is not fixed so that specializations unlock for all characters.
I miss Ferelden. I even miss Morrigan and she hates me. I hope it is fixed soon.

Why do people think they need to point out other's mistakes, other then to trying to appear superior to everyone else, in a game forum that has nothing to do about the game topic?
Maybe everyone is not an English Major?
Nearly as bad as the Spelling Police.

If you read my statement properly, I also apologized in advance since I was frustrated about it being used wrongly here AND in other places I visit consistently. If you notice, not one of my posts ever talks about grammar or spelling aside from that one, so don't imply that I do this constantly when I don't.
I wanted to get it out of my system in a topic where both sides tried using the term insultingly when it wasn't even properly used, because its usage in that sense - as well as the entire argument and implied/direct namecalling - is incredibly silly. That way I can vent while keeping it focused on what is going on at hand (though admittedly not on focus of the topic in general).
