What happened to the RTO thread. Seems like if you just came into this forum you won't know there is RTO even. no?

"Fernando Melo:No, it has nothing to do with platforms themselves. It's a quality issue where, literally, at the last minute, we spotted something that had made it through our own testing, EA's testing and was at Microsoft already. But it applies to all three platforms; it wasn't something specific to Microsoft, we just happened to catch it there first. We probably could have gone with it, but it's something that was serious enough that we felt it impacted the quality [of the DLC] and we made the choice to delay it to give our fans the best experience with it."
A quality issue sounds like something that wasn't good looking or fun to play enough. On the other hand, how does such an issue have anything to do with testing? it has to do with design mostly.
The more I read what they wrote, and apply it to what I know about the game's architecture, the more puzzled I am, to be honest.

So.. Is RTO canceled? Is there any chance at all we are getting an update before next week to fix the update that breaks the game?

Victor,
Thank you very much for the info. Admittedly I was probably one of the more vocal parties in the forums. I understand the dificulties involved in testing prior to release etc. While I do not write game program code I do write code for other industries that are just as demanding at times. The main frustration was that most of us felt as though we had been abandoned by what many of us probably fell is one of the better game designers out there.
In some posts people mentioned that there was a pirated copy that was put out on xbox live market place. I am having trouble buying that.
One thing I have discovered when I started a brand new character is that for some reason the specializations were present. I have heard that they disappear once the character hits lev 14 or so. Guess I will find out. Are you aware of anything like this?

No man. Delayed, yes. Cancelled, almost impossible. There's no reason for that, not after all the effort they have already done. And the devs would let us know if this would (unlikely) happen
Edit: Hi Feraele!

A new thread - wow!... Is that the only news?
Has it been said when the RTO will print to a PC or is it just 360 news?

Gamemakers should just forget consoles and concentrate on PC versions:)

Agreed Consoles can only go so far before you have to buy a new one to employ better engines,Where as you can always upgrade a comp to support the new ones alot cheaper than buying a new 600$ system every 2-3 years^_^
