Don't be rediculous, noone suggested anything of the sort. Just some communication and honesty.

Don't worry, I'm glad that someone fell for it, we need some smiling around here :innocent:

Of course, Bioware actually giving us some news, instead of just locking threads and keep the iron curtain up, would make us smile much more.
And actual apology would be icing on the cake.

A variety of things I completely disagree with.

While I disagree completely with everything that Abriael has said, pretty much without exception, not to mention the way he goes about it he did post one thing I found extremely valuable:

An adventure mod for the main campaign with voice acting - Alley of Murderers.

I have a couple dozen mods for DA:O right now. And while I'm always happy with new hair options, retextured armor and 70s porn music with the modified cutscenes to match there has been an absolute drought of player made adventure mods for DA:O. Admittedly the story and associated NPCs are woven so tight that fitting voiced player content in is tough and something like an additional companion effectively impossible.

This mod though has done an awesome job of adding additional adventure content in, keeping to the same feel as the vanilla campaign.

Agree Griefer, I think that mod would be a good way to spend time til those of us who haven't seen it yet..get RTO.
Our group has been talking about this 60 minute mod with voiceovers for a couple days now.

So yeah..don't forget if you like the mod..to put a vote in for these guys on the download page where you found it. :)

Actually the other topic was locked because it was "redundant" with this one (not really but yanno). I'm curious to see what the excuse  for this one would be.

I don't remember legitimate questions and requests for a more respectful, humble and communicative stance from Bioware being against the forum rules. Care to quote the exact caveat for me? :innocent:

I honestly don't expect apologies, I expect some explanation of why this content is being delayed for the sake of a broken patch that has nothing to do with the DLC in question. Openness is a wonderful thing when something is stuck in limbo like this.

For me personally it would be enough to get a rough idea of what's going on which in turn will make me able to figure out a rough time scale of how long it will be. For now I'm constantly checking this thread for updates that aren't coming, seriously a lot of so called "trolls" like me would probably move on if given something more than ambiguous rubbish.

lol!, these locked/new threads by bioware remind me of the corporate slogans that get a make over. "New look, same great taste" in other words, a new topic thread with the same information from previous threads. Maybe if we talk only about. (i still don't know what "A note about the xbox 360 title update" has to do with RTO for the pc and ps3.

Hehe ..never satisfied with anything ..always unhappy about something..right Abby? :D

I STILL THINK that this little mod is a good time waster and folks can't go wrong by trying it out whilst we wait for this DLC to finally happen.

Btw I did post something over on that Xbox 360 thread, in regards to the recent posting there, ...you might want to take a boo at Abby. :P (xbox 360 tech forum think it was)

It's a little good timewaster. I have several shelves full of "timewasters". Though, having other things to waste time with doesn't make the whole RtO debacle less serious. Quite the contrary, the fact that someone else released a perfectly functioning, full featured and even voiced "little timewaster" before Bioware released theirs speaks volumes...

So whats the score 2 DLCs for BioWare and 1 for the community? Go community!! Your catching up, now is the time to push a couple more out and get in the lead.

actually 1 for Bioware, given that Stone Prisoner was originally intended to be part of the game and then cut.

And given Warden's keep release frame, I'm not at all convinced than the count isn't actually 0.

Volumes...of what, more snarks ..more cries of oh woe is me? Or...more fun to be had with a mod created by members of our community...who should be appreciated for doing so? ^^ :)

legitimate questions are one thing, brow beating to death this notion that $30 - $40 dollars entitles you
to responses on demand and talking to ceos of companies, regardless of what other forums have done for you is ludicris.
bah, im not feeding back into this ego rant thing.
sit back and think what you wish, this will end up the same as the other, a rant driven ride to dog tail land.
spinning and spinning into nothing.
oh and lets not forget the " im innocent" emot. :innocent:

Volumes on the fact that the delays on RtO (and even more the lack of communication about it), are unacceptable.

what explanation? that there is nothing wrong with RTO just the patch that says whoo hoo you completed RTO it is bull that nobody from bioware is keeping the community updated but wants are money to pre-order awakeing (which looks most likely to get the same treatment as RTO)
